Thanks for flagging this - you were right, and it was a bug, not a design choice. The daily set was supposed to rotate every day, and a hashing mistake made it pick the same passages every time. It's fixed, along with a test that fails if it ever stops rotating. I'm working to get that update out to you as soon as I can. Sorry it took a 1-star to surface it.
