Reading Eagle app for iPad
I strongly dislike the new version of the iPad version of the Reading Eagle app. Instead of showing a single newspaper page at a time, it now shows two pages side-by side. That makes the image too small for me to be able to read the words.
Lame
The app is lame. Why are they so prominently displaying old articles? It’s January and the front page of this app is talking about the Oley Fair thriving. LOL. As lame as the physical paper itself.

Enjoyed the sports, movie reviews and local news. First rate !
Worthless
Can’t get to any articles. Constantly bombarded with ad to subscribe and I’m already subscribed. Cancelling as soon as I finish this review. Just awful.
The Obituary section
As I scroll down through the obituaries, the page goes blank. I can only read through the B’s then nothing. If I keep scrolling an advertisement pops up but no more obituaries. So frustrating.

I wish this would show a facsimile of the actual page, similar to the Newsmemory app, or the page view option that’s only available online
Customer Service very poor
News alert repeating every 30 seconds for over 15 minutes. Called to have a customer service rep look into the problem and all she wanted to do was change my password.

Extremely poor!
A headline pops up on my screen, and when I go to look at it online, I cannot find it. The search feature is completely useless. Unless you have the exact headline of the article, it doesn’t find anything for you. Frequently I have to login even though I am a full annual subscriber to the print newspaper. I am now paying over $600 a year, including small tip for carrier, but the paper is not much more than a pamphlet, and wastes that small amount of print space on articles re-printed from the AP etc. We are getting less and less local news. If you ask me why I still subscribe, I really can’t give you a good answer.

Sometimes….I can log in!!
This is quite challenging to use! Does not like my log in info. Sometimes I can see the Log Out icon, so I should be logged in!!!! I have USA Today on my phone and I haven’t logged in since day ONE!! It’s always just one tap! Disappointing!!!!
No e-edition access
The website takes me to e-books and it doesn’t work. I should be able to get to it through this app- please fix it
