Reading therapy

This is an awesome app. My husband has been using it for sometime now and it is very helpful. His reading and comprehension has come such a long way and his aphasia has improved. He continues to work hard everyday. Thank you Tactus Therapy for all your hard work in developing the apps that you do. They are helping so many people.

Good for classroom as well

I've used this in my classroom for students with autism. One of the things I like best about the app is phrase matching, where students match a photo to the words describing it. This is great for working on reading comprehension with my students. I especially like that some of the words are similar so students really have to descriminate, such as if it's a "slippery snake" or a "sugary snake", or choosing the correct color as well as the item. I'd love to have a simpler option where "snake" was the answer, for students who don't read as many words yet. Love that one of the categories is body parts!

I see a lot of potential with the fact that you can add your own categories and photos to work on custom vocabulary. It would be great if you could access the photos already in the application for this, so that you didn't need to take a photo of each item you wanted to add in order to use a custom list, but I love that you can set up your own list. Another "wish for" item would be the option to have the data tell me which items a student missed, rather than just percentage of accuracy, but these are just wish items that would make a great app even better.

Very helpful

This is a very helpful app for patients to use during a therapy session or on their own. Many of the patients I work with have reading issues and this app is very helpful. It is so nice not having to carry around multiple photocopies. The app will work for children or adults. The app is multifunctional without being visually distracting. The therappy set of apps are excellent and the ones I use most often. I have also had many patients buy this app.

Amazing adult app

I have been using this app frequently. Actually daily lately with a Wenickes aphasia patient in the hospital. iPad + Tactus apps = best acute care SLP tools! I also use them all in out patient and home care settings. Worth every penny. Highly recommended to SLPs working with adults. Also for patients/clients to purchase and use for homework practice.

(Yes I cut and paste the same review to 3 apps....it's because I use and love them all!)
