What's New in Readplace

1.0.104

August 31, 2026

Your reading list now has a Read tab — everything you've finished, in one place. Marking an article read moves it from To Read across to Read, and leaves you on the tab you were on. The list is redesigned to match the Readplace website: rows sit together in one bordered panel, each led by an orange dot while it's unread or a green check once it's read. Readplace's own colors throughout, most visibly in dark mode. Saving from the share sheet no longer drops the page content. The save is queued on your phone and finished the next time you open Readplace, with retries — and the card closes once the save is done instead of parking on "Saved".

User reviews

Readplace is a great tool.

Readplace has changed the game for me. Before, I would save an article for later by opening a new tab. I would never make it back. Now, with Readplace, I am actually reading those articles, AND my browser tabs are a lot less clustered.
