By taking the guess work out I am able to get right to work while saving on expensive paints.
Recommendations.
I would like to see continued improvements on new paints that are offered by paint manufacturers. In addition an updated and complete list of existing products would also benefit new clients as I am who have a stockpile of paints in the bag.

Limited paint range
I’ve got Talens Rembrandt series 3 oils. It loos like the app only supports an older series as most of my colours aren’t available.
Cancelling through Apple
I just paid for a 3 month subscription but unfortunately I can’t use it because there are No watercolor libraries. I cancelled through Apple but I’m still charged for the 3 months. Please help!

I just tried the app for the first time today and I’m thrilled. I’ve been a ‘weekend’ painter for many, many years and I still hate mixing paint. This is a game changer. I sometimes needed to tweak the final mix a little and I’d love more paint selections but I had plenty that matched the available options and it worked like a charm. I also loved that it remembered the area I was matching because sometimes I forget by the time I get back to the painting. I was snoopy dancing all over the ‘art’ room. This will be worth every penny. Thank you!

My New Favorite Toy
I love everything about this app.
Misleading
It’s almost useless, if you work with oil paint because it doesn’t use the names of real oil colors (just blue, red white and so on)
Excellent App For Painters
I’m a professional artist and use this app almost every day. Even though I know color theory and how to mix paints, it’s nice to sometimes get a little help. There have been times that what looked blue to my eye has actually been more green, etc. It’s very easy to set up. Their customer service is great and has always responded quickly. It’s definitely worth more than $15 a year (Developer please don’t increase the price just because I said that :-)).

Very useful app!
Great documentation on website linked in Settings. Intuitive. Paint brand selection is adequate because most colors don’t change a lot across brands. A super-bargain at $15/year!

There is one week free trial period for new customers. This is directly handled by Apple and not by us. If you are not a new customer, the free period is not active. Please don’t write false reviews. Thank you.

the app is free to download, but to even get access to basic features on the app you have to pay $15 a MONTH.
Fab app
The interface is a bit clunky and it makes the scrolling selections hard to use but once you’ve chosen your paint brand and colours it’s pretty simple.
Close to perfect!
As an IT Business Analyst I can assure that this app is close to perfect in many ways:
- the color science behind it is as accurate as possible and best practice!
- the workflow from a point of an artist is as simple and convenient as possible
- the database contain a very good selection of often used manufacturers
- the price is more than fair
The more I dive into the math and logic, the more I admire the excellent job done by the creators!

Scam app
Yet another scam app,big surprise,tired of the shakedown go away.
Stopped working
I purchased a one month trial and after 1 use it stopped loading. I have had to request a refund and bought the 7.99 version which seems to work just fine, but doesn’t have the same colour selections.
