Dear reality team,

I have been using REALITY since its launch in 2020, and it quickly became one of my favorite apps. I regularly shared it with friends and family so we could stay connected long-distance, and its versatility in streaming, VTubing, and avatar customization made it stand out among similar platforms. I genuinely appreciated how creative, social, and comforting this app was for me, and I used it almost every day. Unfortunately, since the iOS 17.0 update, I am no longer able to access the platform due to new device-type restrictions. Because of this, I can’t speak with friends, relatives, or members of the community I’ve grown close to over the years. This has been extremely disappointing, especially considering how much REALITY helped me with social anxiety and personal expression. It was a major source of comfort, and losing access has been very difficult. I respectfully ask the REALITY team to reconsider these restrictions or offer an alternative solution. Not everyone is able to purchase a newer device just to continue using the app, and limiting access may cause a decline in both active users and new community members. Many people, including myself, have invested time, currency, and emotional value into this platform. Additionally, the App Store page currently states that REALITY works on devices such as the iPhone 11. However, when downloaded, it only displays a message instructing users to “install the latest version,” even when that version is already installed. This inconsistency can confuse and discourage new or returning users. Despite these issues, I still deeply appreciate REALITY and everything it has offered. It will always hold a special place in my heart, and I truly hope a solution can be reached so long-time users like myself can return to the platform we care about. Thank you for your time and consideration.
