Can’t get a solid scan
App needs updating, I’m on the most recent version and it’s crashing every time I try to scan something on my desk on the 17 pro max. All the other 3D scanning apps are monthly subscriptions now. Apple, please fix.

I try and open object capture by pressing the plus button and it doesn’t show. It creates a new scene instead.

Not usable
Not sure which intern programmed this at Apple but surely no one who actually tried to use this in any productive way. Importing assets just don’t show up or are not visible because dimensions are too large. Maybe because no one at Apple understands that usd does actually have dimensions metadata to be used? Nor is there a warning, error or some kind of notification. Let alone having perhaps an outliner for picking assets. Totally useless

Crashes frequently, cannot detect any object clearly so that the 3d models have dents and hollow surfaces. Please fix or delete immediately!!

I was a trainer of this app. I am a blender 3D artist too. This app is cool, though it has some drawbacks(which is fine as it’s running on mobile)
Omg I love animating with it
I love animating with this and just using it for fun, I wish that I had an option to allow objects to interact with the environment. For example I place an object and o it the physics on it, I wish I can interact with the table or the floor or anything I scan with the device. Pretty neat app though
