Product Improvement Suggestion: Low‑Vision Accessibility Enhancements for Reallife EXP

To better support users with low vision, Reallife EXP would benefit from improvements to its visual accessibility. A key enhancement would be adding Dark Mode support, either by adopting Apple’s system‑wide appearance settings or by offering an in‑app toggle.

At present, the text and background contrast is too low, making on‑screen content difficult—or in some cases impossible—to read for users with reduced vision. Increasing contrast and offering a high‑contrast Dark Mode would significantly improve usability, reduce eye strain, and align the app with accessibility best practices.

Recommended Improvements

• Support for system‑level Dark Mode (iOS light/dark appearance).
• Optional in‑app Dark Mode toggle for users who prefer manual control.
• Higher contrast ratios between text and background to meet or exceed WCAG 2.1 AA/AAA guidelines.
• Testing with low‑vision users to validate readability in real‑world conditions.

Why This Matters

• Enhances accessibility for users with low vision or light sensitivity.
• Improves readability in clinical or low‑light environments.
• Aligns the app with modern iOS accessibility standards.
• Demonstrates commitment to inclusive design in a medical‑context application.

Too many issues

Not a reliable app for collecting EMA data

Ripped off - app crashes

Paid thousands to use this app as a researcher and crashed constantly so had to switch to another software. No refund. This app may look fancier than other ESM/EMA apps but it's not worth it.
