You have to pay to cancel/ lack of transparency
Fast forward eight months later, I called in to cancel and was transferred to a “specialist” who handled these requests. It took forever for him to get to the point, and then boom, I was told I had to pay for the full 12 month contract to cancel. That meant I’d have to pay $1,680 or more just to get out of it. Plus, there were even more fees for canceling early.
I was lied to, plain and simple. Where’s the transparency?? As a salesperson myself, I refuse to operate this way. There was no reason to mislead me, they could have just been upfront from the start. Yes, I’m sure the fine print in the contract technically covers them, but let’s be real: contracts like these are worded in a way that makes it easy to miss key details.
This kind of business practice is unethical and disappointing. Maybe not all representatives lie, but some of y’all seriously lack transparency. Train better. Do better.
