Scammed

The 2 Mideastern scammers got onto my iPhone and tablet by using this site, me naively not knowing its purpose. They got $75,000. If I had been more computer savvy, this would not have happened to me!

Scammer’s app

It is used by scammers to get access to your info etc. Should be removed from the app store forever.

DO NOT DOWNLOAD

DO NOT DOWNLOAD THIS APP. I was trying to get help from “eBay” and some Indian guy told me to download this app. Turns out it wasn’t actually eBay. It was a scam. If you are downloading this app, it means you are on the phone with a SCAMMER. DONT LET THEM TAKE $200 FROM YOU LIKE THEY DID TO ME.

How do I start a remote session?

The app itself is free to download. However, the functionality for initiating remote sessions requires a RealVNC Connect account, with free, paid, and trial subscription options available for RealVNC Connect.

What platforms is RealVNC Server compatible with?

RealVNC Server is a mobile application designed to share your mobile device's screen. The user initiating the connection must be using RealVNC Viewer on a desktop or mobile device.

How does RealVNC Server protect my privacy?

The app ensures privacy through end-to-end encryption on all remote sessions. It also provides protection from unwanted access by requiring end-user approval for all connection requests, ensuring you are in control of who accesses your device.
