Very durable
I like the fact that’s on phone and as a beat maker it’s makes it very easy for me to create when I’m inspired I don’t have to wait till I’m at my studio try it and thank me later guys
Cant even make an account.
Last update was 5years ago, simple things like not even being able to log into the app. Do better.
bring back Thor! don't toy around!
this is soooo weak man, what the hell are u doing, where is Thor from the app store? get real or you gonna get out of business very soon! you killed the best synth on iOS for what?
Arp perfection, but
This is hands down my favorite music app. The patches are amazing, and I bought every pack. The UI is second to none, seriously. The arpeggiator is a million-dollar feature, and the variations and tweaks are truly unique.
I seriously can’t rave enough about this app and everything it includes.
That said, I’ve had two issues. One is a bummer, and the other is something that genuinely makes me sad.
First, it has basically no MIDI options. It does support MIDI, and I can get MIDI devices to interact with some things in the app, but there’s no way to assign controls or really customize anything. It also crashes whenever I use its AU function.
Second, I’d love to be able to use it on my M3 or M4 Macs. It crashes there too. I’ve been trying, and I’ll keep trying, to work around that, but it’s still an issue.
Even with those problems, for jamming on the iPad and staying inside the app, it’s perfect. There has never been a better experience in my life for that. If Reason Studios is still around, I beg you to please look into these issues. The joy and happiness this app gave me during a very dark time in my life is something I could not have gotten anywhere else.

Keyboard
What is this keyboard
Super Great
This app has helped me create, learn and keep me inspired for years now. Though I haven’t seen any new machines added in a while it still is my most used app for music ideas.
Amazing
I love ReasonCompact!🐵
Nice but not great
Needs a 4th synth for leads.
Amazing music maker
Even if I just spam a bunch of random notes it still sounds great
Amazing Sound Quality
I love this app. I used it to build the foundation for a whole album. It works great with Reason desktop app. And just from the phone you get great sounding WAV files, they basically spund 'mastered'. You can hear it on my album, band name is - rezamos por ti - on all streaming platforms
Copy cat abandon ware
They plagiarized another app and then abandoned it 4 years ago.
Excellent!!!
Plz! midi import and export . Cool!
Great app refresher
I was 1st introduced to Reason by my brother’s friend in the early 2000’s combo’ed with Acid Loops and ODB background track/vocals, was kind of a tragic put off after a while, like a killbot theremin.
20 years later I have a new PG music project and amping the 1st few iOS Reason drafts attracted the kindergartners to seriously sit down and play the drum kit. Miraculous team effort brining as iOS app. Good job.

Best mobile production app
This is the greatest mobile music production app of all time very easy to use and understand a lot of options, especially if you unlock the additional features that the app has I think it’s about 10 or $20 to unlock everything but believe me you’ll thank yourself if you do, I know the app is free and you don’t have to, but after you do that it really allows you to do things that normally you’re not able to do well worth the $20

Used to be my favorite app
And now it crashes on launch. Any fixes in the future?
Great app, missing two things
Great app that i recommand to my students. A little bit like groovebox but more easy to learn.
Two things that i will love in the future :
- Export ZIP files with each part of the loop
- more instruments! Or the possibility to add more than one similar…!! Being limited to 3 parts is sad
- the possibility to make different loops for the same instrument.. to make an evolution..

My favorite iOS app
I’ve been making sketches and loops and stems with this for years now and it remains the most enjoyable app on my iPhone. I really wish the Reason team would come back to it and give it an update to take advantage of modern iOS features and hardware.
Hi,Please make Reason for iPad Pro & Akai Mpc X if this posible,Thanks!
Hi,I hardly use a computer because it's not very convenient for me. I have a powerful iMac, but I don't write music on it because I'm used to the convenience of the iPad Pro. If you make Reason for the iPad Pro, I would have bought it from you a long time ago for 500 euros, either modules or the whole thing, since you can put it in the App Store. Randomize all the synthesizers and effects; it's very convenient and speeds up the music writing process. You can quickly find interesting sounds and effect settings. Everything is built in on the iPad, and the touchscreen is convenient. A version of Reason for the Akai MPC X on a drum machine would also be nice; it's also convenient.,Thanks!
