No Longer Working In IOS
This app used to be the best app ever for YouTube summaries now it no longer works and just continues to flash in the app like it’s loading or buffering it worked up until last week so I don’t know what’s happening but I’m hoping it’s not abandoned.
Cost effective convenient AI based note taking and summarizing
If you need a place to save summarized notes from YouTube, articles and pdfs, this app is the best one I’ve tried. It’s releasing good features at a fast pace.
Finally, a Tool That Actually Works as a Second Brain
I use Recall constantly, mostly for saving and summarizing YouTube videos, and it's become one of the top tools in my stack. You can actually chat with the content you save, which sounds like a gimmick until you use it. It also connects your notes together automatically, whether you typed them yourself or pulled them from somewhere else, and that's something most tools just don't do.
The new text editor was the missing piece for me. It's similar to Notion, and honestly, without it I was close to fully committing but not quite there. Now I can capture ideas fast and actually go back to them without friction. The updated quiz feature is really well done. I've always had this problem where I collect a ton of information and then can't remember any of it or put it into context. Having a quiz built right into the same place where I store everything actually helps with that.
I already had a lifetime deal on a similar tool. Paid a good amount for it. Still switched to a yearly Recall subscription because it's just that much better.
The team is really responsive and they don't rush things out. You can tell they think features through before shipping them. I can't say enough good things about the tool or the people behind it. Definitely top three in my tool stack.

Impossible to delete account
Chose to try the app again on the paid subscription.
Despite using questions that included words in the title of uploaded files/ videos, it skipped them and kept going back to the same handful of unrelated content for answers.
I pushed for a reason and it said I must tag and reference things. So the auto categorized function does not work!

This app sounds exactly what I wanted. I downloaded it, clicked on it and it stayed stuck at opening screen.

Truly Promising app for learning and helping keep notes
This app has truly impressed me With it’s capabilities in keeping notes and quizzing. Still digging deep into this. So far I’ve had a joyful time understanding the application, however, there are plenty of bugs that make it tough to use continuously. I’d love to see an improvement in seemles use of the app. It also tends to forget what I was doing just by turn my phone to the side it resets the quiz. Sharing also has been difficult with certain apps and other LLM’s. I hope to see this app continue to Improve and will be using this more for my schooling. So far a great application and would recommend to others for work or schooling👍

Looks promising
Yeah, I know “everything should be free” (oh, but I want to be paid handsomely for whatever it is I do, right?) Anyway, a vast amount of information is available FOR FREE on the web, but who has the time to sort through all the noise to find what’s really useful and what’s not? And, after accomplishing that sysyphean task, who can remember it all and connect all the dots? Why not put this tech to work for you? Try Recall - a small taste for free, $10 USD for a month’s worth of more in-depth use, or sign up for a year for less than $100 USD. I’m a cheapskate, and that doesn’t seen like such a bad deal to me.

Great capture, review and quiz learning
This app has replaced other ways I use to follow news articles, blogs and even and summaries of white papers.
Best second brain out there hands down. 12-11-25 revision In between ** below
*it had been about 2 months since I was actively using the iOS app so the other day I went ahead and subscribed for a year and, by golly, it was buggy as hell. I am struggling to even get info into the app which was never a problem before. Sad. Frustrated. Angry.*
This app is undoubtedly the best in terms of providing analysis and inter and intra-note connections courtesy of AI. The only real hiccup I have with it is the difficulty in creating notes from my iPhone (meaning actually typing a note out) but then again I work from home so my laptop is right there so the point is moot lol.

Literally the best Ai app so far
Incredibly cool and clever. I’m a marketer and have used hundreds of platforms over the last 20 years or so. I consume stupid amounts of content daily to stay ahead of what’s happening in my industry. Recall is one of those apps where you go “why didn’t I think of this?” I love the simplicity of just sharing a link and having the transcript of a 2 hour video (hello Lex Fridman) as well as a detailed or concise summary produced in less than ten seconds . But the real genius is in being able to chat and ask questions about the content - “ give me 3 things I can share with my team from this - in less than 50 words” as well as tagging content and creating your own tags on the fly. I really could go on but I have content to summarise. Well done to the founders and the team behind this. 🙌

ENDLESS BENEFITS:
The benefits of artificial intelligence once felt overwhelming because of how much there is to learn. Now, with Recall, that feeling has changed.
Even in beta, the app is impressive. Yet It’s just getting started and already better than most others, It’s definitely a top-tier experience and a powerful tool for improving learning efficiency.

Buggy
I used this for a while and I thought it was quite good but now it’s full of way too many bugs. I tried to download a ketosis video and it kept stating that the video needed age verification for recall, which makes no sense because it’s Ketosis!! Cancelled app today went with Notebook LM. Don’t waste your time with this app!

Indignant and deplorable
I don't care if this is meant to be a beta or not but, if it's on the ios Apple Store, and ready to be utilised- then it's meant to be something of quality!
But that's not what i’ve experienced

Impossible to stop your infinite subscription
What a terrible mistake to subscribe to a useless app with a subscription management button that leads nowhere. I've requested cancellation about ten times and I've been waiting for a week for the email to confirm it. It's a total scam.
Impossible to delete account
Having so many impossible steps to delete account does not make people stay. It’s pushes them from deleting their account to leaving a bad review.
Terrible app… which is why I wanted to delete the account. So much friction.

Phenomenal App
This is the one I’ve been waiting for
Great, but...
I really enjoyed the app. I think the idea is excellent and has great potential to help people learn and organize their knowledge more effectively. However, I feel that the monetization model prioritizes profit a bit too much over accessibility. It would be very valuable to have a free option (with limitations), for example: allowing up to 10 summaries with the ability to delete old ones to make room for new ones, as well as limiting the number of quiz questions. Right now, the 10 tokens provided are used up quickly and, even if you delete summaries, they can’t be recovered, which forces you to pay for the membership. I completely understand that maintaining the app has costs and that a paid plan is fair, but I believe there should also be a free alternative for those who truly want to keep learning but don’t have the resources to spend nearly $90 on an annual membership. Unfortunately, for now I’ll have to uninstall the app and look for other options, though I hope the team considers a more accessible model in the future.

Finally, a Knowledge App That Thinks With Me.
I’ve tried everything — Notes, screenshots, even Notion — but nothing really fit how my brain works. Too much friction, too much upkeep. Recall is the first app that makes capturing and using knowledge feel effortless. I can share from YouTube, LinkedIn, or pretty much anywhere, and it instantly summarises, tags, and syncs across devices. The summaries are nearly always spot on, and I love that I can actually chat with my entire knowledge base instead of just dumping information into a folder I’ll never open again.
The graph view is brilliant for spotting connections between ideas, and it’s already changed how I integrate what I learn. I’d love to see it get more proactive with suggestions and reviews, but even as it is, Recall has saved me hours and given me a real system I’ll stick with. If you’ve ever felt overwhelmed by scattered notes, this is the first tool I’ve found that genuinely helps.
