Awful People!
After having & actively using this app for a long time, & having lots of accumulated points, I fell, was hospitalized & had emergency surgery, followed by a long recovery period. My account was terminated due to inactivity. I wrote an appeal and asked, not to get my points back, but just to have an account again and I was denied.

I faithfully uploaded my receipts to this app, with several other apps as well. I always wait to redeem at 50$. The last I time I attempted, I was denied. They said I was receipt diving. Now mind you they have all my information from receipts. I may have had a couple extra. I may have picked up as I’m leaving the stores that I patron. They stole $50 from me. I do not recommend this app.I would use any of the other ones Fetch Frisbee or any of the other others besides this one ReceiptJar is horrible

Locked screen pop up that pops up and stays soo I can’t actually access the app for over a week now.

Deceptive cash out policies
ReceiptJar suspended my account when I requested my first cash out after a year of accumulating points. No warnings were ever issued and I lost 10000 points. Too bad I still have to give one star

I deleted the app then gave it another try - managed to get my account back. Eye-pleasing platform easy to navigate.

I have always had a good experience with this app. Payouts are easy and relatively quick! I just cashed out $100 for barely any work!
Scam
This is a scam! By the time i will claim by gift card, they logged out my account and don’t want to log me in. It keeps saying, wrong username/password. Even if i requested to Forget password, it will be never send a reset password process.

Great App
I’ve been using Receipt Jar for a couple of years now, my daughter put me on to it. I haven’t cashed out yet but I’m on my way towards a $200 rebate. It’s so easy, just scan all your receipts. The $ add up quicker than you think.
My daughter has cashed out a time or two, so I’m confident I’ll be rewarded. I recently had an issue and it was very quickly addressed and resolved by Mana of customer service. Thank you Mana for all your help.

Logging in issues
App logged me out. Tried to log back in but password not accepted ( was saved in password manager). Requested password reset. Then needed verification code but email was never received. Emailed customer support and they managed to help me get back in.

Security risk
This app requires I create an “app password” on Gmail to view my emails and won’t work if I don’t give it access to emails. This is a HUGE SECURITY RISK. App password allows ReceiptJar to arbitrarily read and write any email.

Date tracking needs improvement
Many receipts get rejected because their system can’t decipher the dates properly.
Also my Uber Eats account won’t sync. Contacted customer support, and they are useless.

Overnight my points were gone no customer service to help.
I faithful leaves this app for several years until yesterday when I went into scan a receipt the app went wild deleted all my points. I think I had like 10,000 and started me off from the beginning. Needless to say you get no customer support so I deleted the app.. Major scam! I hate apps with no customer service believe me I will be telling 10 people and they will tell 10 people about this app and not to use it. I’ve been using it for six years.

Don’t download this app unless you really want to deal with them suspending your account when you don’t use it for a month if you’re gonna continually use it then go ahead and download this app. I haven’t gotten much money from them either and it’s not just that but their points also expire and they don’t tell you that upon signing up for an account.
