Rechka: audio to text

Hours of recording, written out on the phone itself. Rechka takes a file you already have — a lecture, an interview, a meeting, a voice memo — and writes it out in full, from the first minute to the last. Nothing is uploaded and nothing waits in a queue: the recognition runs on the iPhone, so a private conversation stays a private conversation. HOW IT WORKS 1. Bring a recording — from Files, from Photos, from the share sheet of any app, or record one right now. 2. Wait. An hour of audio is usually a matter of about a minute on a recent iPhone. 3. Read it in the player: the phrase being spoken is highlighted, and a tap on any phrase moves the sound to that spot. WHAT YOU GET • The whole recording as text, however long it runs • Twenty-five languages recognized on the device, among them languages the dictation built into iOS does not offer • Who said what: the conversation split speaker by speaker (beta) • Search across every transcript at once, with the words around the match • A recorder that pauses and resumes, and video from the camera with the sound taken out of it • Text and subtitles out: TXT and SRT • Any audio or video file iPhone can open • Translation and summary through the tools already built into iOS • The share sheet: send a file to Rechka from any app without opening it first EVERYTHING HAPPENS ON YOUR DEVICE There is no server, no account and no sign-in. The app goes online once, so the system can fetch the recognition model, and after that it works in airplane mode. The audio never leaves the phone. REQUIREMENTS iPhone or iPad with iOS 26 or later.
