About
How recovered are you today compared with your own baseline? Recovery Compass puts your Apple Health data in context and shows patterns in recovery, sleep and training. No account needed.
YOUR DAY AT A GLANCE
The daily Recovery score (0–100) compares HRV, resting heart rate and sleep with your personal baseline from the previous 28 days. Your confirmed morning score stays fixed for the day. Choose which cards appear on Today. Missing measurements are never invented.
SEE PATTERNS OVER MONTHS
Long term shows the last 30 days or the last twelve months. Compare recovery, activity load and daylight in charts and calendars. A subtle trend line shows the direction of your recovery.
FOLLOW YOUR VO₂ MAX
Track VO₂ max estimates from Apple Health over time. Measurement dates and older values are clearly marked. The app does not calculate VO₂ max itself.
EXPLORE PERSONAL RELATIONSHIPS
Effects shows how sleep, load and daylight occur alongside recovery and HRV in your data. You can also explore longer-term relationships with VO₂ max. Observed patterns do not prove causation.
YOUR METRICS ON IPHONE AND WATCH
Choose the metric for your widgets on iPhone and Apple Watch. The Watch app displays the latest values transferred from your iPhone. Calculation details can be enabled in Settings.
OPTIONAL: SLEEP RHYTHM AND SLEEP PLAN
The experimental sleep feature is off by default. Enable it to compare sleep times over the last seven nights, plan a bedtime window and set an evening reminder. Long term then also shows sleep duration and regularity for the selected period.
Your health data is processed on your device. Analysis requires your permission to read relevant Apple Health data. Available metrics depend on your devices and measurements. Recovery Compass is for personal insight, not medical diagnosis or treatment advice.
