Audio issues

Audio cuts out if I switch to another app and come back. If I restart the app, it does the same thing if I switch apps. Doesn’t matter if I toggle silent mode on or off.

And before that even, WTF is up with no simultaneous audio. There should be no app at any point on a MOBILE platform that disables external audio without a having setting to change that behavior.

Seriously what is it with games on iOS?

Aren’t games devs able to control this behavior?

(I’m a dev myself but not mobile). Does Apple actively make it difficult to control this with their audio API or are game devs truly so out of touch with the actual user experience?
