Weird

Why do I have to enter my phone number, confirm I'm human, and receive a text message just to check my rewards? Shouldn't that be a function in the app?

Horrible

Very slow and not user friendly at all. Would love to give you more business but you don’t make it easy or convenient with this app.

Take This App Down

I’m not sure what the company was thinking when they chose whoever their app developer lead is, but one thing is for sure: they chose wrong. This is a dumpster fire of an app- there are only 3 tabs- THREE. And you manage to completely fumble TWO of them so hard that you give up and program them to just send customers to a whole separate app that they then have to make ANOTHER account for, all just so that points can be tracked. As the developer(s), seriously ask yourself: “Why should anyone put themselves through this headache and continue to use my product?”

Sad

This app just won’t update and download the menu. Nothing but problems. Just order at the window…it’ll be faster

Great idea, terrible execution

I really wanted to love the Red Owl app. The idea is perfect—order ahead, skip the line, and grab my coffee without the wait. I placed my order, got an email confirmation, parked in the designated spot, and looked for a way to let them know I was here. The sign says, “mark I’m here in your app”… but there’s no such option anywhere.

I’ve been sitting in my car for over 20 minutes. I tried calling the number listed online and on my receipt—it is disconnected. So now I’m stuck wondering: Is my coffee ready? Has it been sitting on a shelf getting cold? Have they even made it yet? Or will I have to wait on that too?

Do I walk in wearing my mom morning drop-off clothes and no makeup? Or do I get in line behind six cars and wait another 20 minutes? Either way, the convenience factor is completely gone.

I love Red Owl’s coffee, but the app experience left me super frustrated. I really hope they iron out the kinks, because this could be such a great service with a few fixes.

Better

This app has gotten better and the company is growing at a crazy rate. I’m excited to see where they go from here.

Neglected app

Still says spring 2024 well into summer and the seasonal item they’re advertising isn’t available on the menu anywhere I can find.

Super Disappointed

I have been an avid consumer of Red Owl for years, and this is what made the final straw for me. Not only is the coffee cost getting ridiculous, but now the app doesn’t even work. I can’t even log in to my account because i get a 404 code every time. The rewards system was one of the main reasons that promoted me to come to red owl, but now there’s no point.

Horrible Uodate

This app used to work great and I was able to order my coffee in under 2 minutes. The upgraded app I have had to download, delete, and redownload every time I go to use it. The 404 error ha become my enemy. This is my favorite coffee shop and I make a choice to go to Red Owl, but I am over the app not working. I am not getting points for my drink and since I can’t preorder my drink I am stuck waiting in line. I have clients back to back all day and can’t stop to wait in a large line. If the app isn’t fixed soon I will be forced to go to Starbucks or Ellianos. I hope it gets fixed soon because I really don’t want to give up my Red Owl coffee.

Missing a location

The Tifton location isn’t on the app 😢 otherwise the updated app looks good!

Error 404

Welp I really loved this company, but they spent a week working on launching a new app (which is way worse than the old one) just for them to change the points and the prices on all their drinks. Not to mention I keep getting 404 error every time I try to check my account. The icons and buttons aren’t even designed for mobile interfaces this launch makes no sense. Heck the menu to select your location isn’t even the brands colors. It’s like they had an app dedicated to their own brand and traded it for an out the box app.

Really sad to see a small town company focus only on expanding and not on keeping their product quality. I hope they course correct because this is extremely disappointing.

Growing strong

This company has come a long way and I’m enjoying seeing them expand. The app is simple and that’s what I like about it

App Not Working

For several weeks the app has not been working. Not sure how or to who to report to because the local store didn’t care. We have uninstall and reinstall for it to work. Work in the medical field and several of us have informed the store.

Quickest App I’ve Deleted

Functionality is cool. The minimum $5 is oft-putting when the beverage I wanted was $3.61. My experience in store was worse than trying to use the app because they were out of stock for what I wanted. When my brain said, “They want you to spend more money for products they can’t even provide.” The app was deleted.

It doesn’t work

It simply doesn’t work. The app won’t open. Should be removed from the store until they can’t get it running.

It’s growing

The app definitely started out a little rough around the edges, but it consistently updates and improves and therefore, they get my 5 stars.

Coffee is amazing, app is annoying

Mobile ordering is such a huge priority to businesses now. If your system isn’t smooth and seamless for your customer, it should be fixed asap.

Not fully saving a cc for fast re-orders is cumbersome. Each time you have to enter a csv # as well as your zip. Finally after all that processes you have to resubmit the order.

What is a few simple clicks to order for some companies is a process with this app.

Weird app

You can’t do anything on this app before creating an account. Every other app I’ve ever used allows you to see the menu and place an order without an account and has links to the company website with nutritional information.

I love Red Owl but…

This app is definitely on its way to being really awesome, but i think there are still some kinks to be worked out. Whenever paying for a drink, despite having a card saved, it asks for me to re-enter my CVV and Billing Zipcode every time. This is somewhat weird as I’ve never had a food app have me do that so i was caught off guard the first few times. However, if you also happen to miss one of the prompts, and forget to enter your CVV or zipcode, the app practically breaks. It takes 5 minutes for it to load back up to tell you missed an entry.

I also think having parking spots for mobile orders will help the process, as there have been 2 times now that people behind me in line got their orders before me, a mobile order, and they all ordered in person. I know this is a new thing and y’all are still working through the errors, but i see little benefit to using the app outside of tracking points currently.
