Take more of your department's inventory and apparatus work to the field. This update adds Inventory Management on mobile, barcode scanning, a clearer main menu, and improvements to response status timing. Requires RedNMX with Responder service support for inventory features and appropriate department modules and user permissions. INVENTORY MANAGEMENT Browse and manage General Inventory, Apparatus, SCBA, Stations, and Hose from the Inventory Management and Apparatus sections of the main menu. • Search and filter lists by text, subtype, location, and status • Add, view, and update records with detail screens for each asset type • Capture purchasing and valuation details, apparatus mechanical data, and more • Add photos on inventory items when your department allows image editing CHECKS, SERVICE, AND HOSE TESTS From any inventory item you can review and record checks and service history, log hose tests, open fuel logs for apparatus and general inventory when fuel tracking is enabled, and use custom fields when configured. Permissions can be set so staff may update checks or service without full edit access to the base record. BARCODE SCANNING Scan a barcode on the inventory list or item detail to find records quickly. Run batch check workflows: choose a check type, scan multiple items in the field, and complete inspections with clear on-screen feedback and sound on supported devices. MAIN MENU Apparatus and Inventory Management features are grouped in expandable menu sections. On supported configurations, reorder main menu items to match how your department works and save your layout. RESPONSE STATUS When setting a custom response status, define how long it stays active—through the end of the day, through the end of the week, or for a specific number of hours—with an improved history view. RELIABILITY Updated mobile platform and scanner integration for more dependable barcode reading, plus fixes and UX improvements across inventory screens. Responder requires the RedNMX Fire Department Management System.
