Sub optimal app experience reduces my chances to spend money
I love Rei. I want to browse and buy things that are on sale. The app isn’t great for that so I spend less money with Rei.

Bare bones
This is little more than a wrapper around the website, and it shows. Every time I launch it (which is not often for a shopping app), it tells me that I have been logged out, and then immediately logs me back in. Don’t do that. If you can log me back in, just log me back in. I don’t need to know about all of that unless you can’t log me back in. Navigation is an utter mess, too. Searching, the most essential feature of a shopping app, is so clunky and jarring.

The REI app is outstanding. The 100% satisfaction guarantee is the best around. Their “No Questions Asked” returns within a year makes shopping online the best and any returns are managed through a simple QR code and the UPS store or any local REI store. No repacking or postage.
