Hard but worth it
Thanks for making this!
Lowk changed my life
I don’t usually review apps tbh BUT this app changed my life so I feel the need to share. I used to be extremely scared to talk to random people. I made the investment in this app as a way to force myself to make a change. The first few challenges were really hard for me but then they got easier. I’m on challenge 27 so far and I can say that I am 2x more socially confident. I’m so grateful for this app and I would highly recommend it to anyone that wants to gain confidence in social situations.

What a fun concept
I’m going to keep this 100. My friend designed this app and asked me to review it. At first, I thought it was some kind of dating app because one of his previous projects was dating-adjacent. Seeing as I have a girlfriend, my intention was to download it, give it five stars, and then probably forget about it (sorry Aidan). I was wrong. It’s not a dating app. It’s way cooler. This app gamifies confidence building. Every week, you obtain challenges that push your boundaries in the art of “free will.” You are tasked with asking a stranger for their advice on a decision you’re making, requesting a song from a street performer, seeing if a local store can price match Amazon… you get the idea. Bear with me why I explain why I think this is a cool concept.
I always day dream about myself in the third person. In spectator mode. Our whole lives, we observe movies and each other from that point of view, so I suppose it makes sense that’s the default setting of my imagination. Here’s the problem, when it comes time to do something socially bold and spontaneous in real life, I’m in the first person perspective. I don’t have the luxury of seeing some confident doppelgänger of myself acting the way a movie character might. It’s just me, a deer in headlights. This is app is cool because it prescribes scenarios that you have to act on in real life and then holds you accountable. You attain confidence with free will in the first-person perspective. Once that neural foundation has been established, the line between your daydreams and reality begins to blur.
