“Read in app” option doesn’t work

The search inside app isn’t great. So i search on Google and then access the website. from the website, i expect to go to the app by clicking the “read in app” option. However the link redirects to App Store and not the app.

Response to developer response:
1. Search inside the app has issues. you don’t always know the exact words of the poem you want to search. So you search through estimation. And Google gives you the result. The app doesn’t. Ex. I searched “hazaaron daleelin aisi” on app, and it gave absurd results but the google search gave me the rekhta link to “hazaaron khwaishein aisi” as the top result.
2. The “read in app” option shouldn’t take me to app store if the app is already installed. It should take me to the poem in the app where I can save/like/bookmark it. For ex. If someone sends you an Instagram link and it opens on the web browser, clicking on the “open in app” option leads to that reel/post on Instagram, it doesn’t take me to Instagram if it is already installed. And that is how it should be. Why take me to App Store if I already have the app?

Response from developer

Dear Aman, thank you for your feedback. Could you please share more details about the issues you’re facing with the in-app search so we can understand and improve it? Regarding the “Read in App” option, it is designed to redirect users to the App Store, where they can access the Rekhta app. We appreciate your understanding and feedback. Team Rekhta

Best for exploring Urdu Poetry world

The availability of poetry in Hindi, tapping on words to know meaning, collection of all urdu legends, Urdu dictionary on the side, ability to save poetry and follow shayars, arrangement of all the things….. This app is perfect….. Thank you for doing this

Revert back to old app

I can’t use rekhta app after the recent updates; tried multiple cycle of uninstall/install but of no use.
It is taking forever to load data on app, please revert it back to old design/GUI.
