This app is not good

The camera feature does not work properly when scanning cards. Also can only scan one card at a time. The app was also glitchy for me and was crashing.

Great

I found the app, several years ago and was sold as it would allow me to catalogue my entire collection. Keeping track of card prices and such. While database updates have slowed some (mostly because WotC and their daddy Hasbro think a set every 3 weeks is a great idea) the developer never disappoints. I’ve been using the app since at least 2013(?) I think and love it. Well done sir, well done!!

A great start but had a ways to go

Really excellent card data base allowing you to put your exact card into your collection, it falls over badly when it comes to deck building however, it is extremely difficult to get cards into a deck as the search function is the same as the add card function and won’t allow you to simply add a card to a deck.......would rate 5 stars otherwise

Database out of date

I’m running the app on an iPhone 11 with the latest iOS update and as far as the App Store is telling me the latest app version. I purchased the unlock everything package only to find out that the latest set, Commander Legends, isn’t part of the database and there is zero info anywhere as to why after 2 weeks of the cards being available in Gatherer and other apps that there has been no update to the card database. I was looking for a way to track and build my personal inventory but without the latest set it is pointless.

Another annoying issue is the bug/error reporting system doesn’t work so I’m force to hope the developer sees this review for help.

Honestly the app is awesome just lacking the cards needed/wanted and the contact method is broke.

Response from developer

Hello, and thanks for commenting. I do apologize for the in-app reporting system not working. I was not aware of that until just now. Additionally, I have slipped in getting timely database updates out. I'm working on the next one now and it should be available shortly.

Cash grab garbage

You have to pay to use The name scanner, unlock more than one set to search, disable ads, and at least 7+ other “features” separately. DO NOT DOWNLOAD. DO NOT USE. Waste of time garbage app

Response from developer

Hello, I'm sorry that you feel that way. As I'm sure you can understand, not every person is going to want every feature which is why people are given the option to purchase only the extra features they would like. However, there is a single purchase called "Unlock All Upgrades" that includes all current and future features that is a better value than purchasing each feature individually. Perhaps you could explore that option next time.
