Such a Practical and Useful app
I have been using Remark for about a week now and love it! It really streamlines the process of emailing suggestions regarding sustainability issues to companies. The interface is also very clean and intuitive. Also super excited to see that Remark is pursuing B Lab’s B Corp Certification for socially & environmentally responsible business. Will definitely be recommending this app to friends and family! Thanks!

Love the app. Only thing I’m wondering is why there isn’t a restaurant category? Otherwise so far it’s enjoyable to use and does a good job pointing out positives as well as negative feedback. I haven’t seen if my feedback has been received from the businesses yet but I’ll keep checking.

Awesome concept but app needs work
As others have said, the concept of being able to give constructive feedback to business is fantastic. But my experience with the app was pretty bad. While typing a reply to a business I was unable to go back to the full screen without losing what I had written. There is no way to type out a thoughtful response when I can’t see the message I’m trying respond to. Is there a way for me to respond via email and it still be added to the app for status updates? That would be a great feature. I hope this app continues to be developed to help the public pressure businesses to do more for eco and animal welfare.

Makes sustainability EASY!
I love using this app, SUCH an easy and straightforward way to give feedback to my favorite (or least favorite) businesses to encourage them in their sustainability efforts, or to make necessary changes. Thanks for the great UX designs so I don’t have to think or work too hard to make a difference!

I’ve received replies from CEOs of major companies. This means they are listening.

Awesome product
I’ve been following this effort for a long time now, and I’m really excited that it’s now an app. I do wish that there was an SMS component, like iMessage, that will stay in the future. That said, I’m really glad that this exists nonetheless. The creators are also nice people, which helps a lot.

Amazing resource to make your voice heard easier
Sustainable living is extremely important to me and especially during the last year at home when we rely on delivery/ take out for so much. Finding ways to talk to businesses can be hard when you’re not happy (or very happy even) about their operations. Remark makes it a TON easier to do that.
They figure out how to contact them and create a form email for you to reach out anonymously to the business.
For example, I got a response back from Costco about their excessive plastic usage. Costco pointed to their published sustainable goals and practices.
The best method to create change you want to see is starting a conversation- this is a really simple and intuitive way to do that.
Props to Remark for starting the conversation.
