Doesn’t load on iPad Pro
Tried installing on iPad Pro. When software is launched it immediately shuts down again. However, it works okay on the phone. When can we expect a fix for this for the iPad?
Still no iPad app update
This is so frustrating now, so many early adopters of Remarkable are now having their workflow disrupted by the failure to update the iPad app for the Remarkable 2. Probably time to accept defeat and look at the competition. A real shame as the original kickstarter campaign was the answer to a lot of people’s digital notetaking prayers.

Cannot use this with PDFs over 10MB or so, too laggy

App is a work in progress
I have the Remarkable Pro and I like it a lot. The Windows apps are really good. The app for the iPad is not great. I had to play with it a lot just to get basic editing right. Not sure how to use the short cut keys that are available on a PC. Further, I couldn't even figure out how to bold the typeface.

Will not sync
I have tried repeatedly to sync my iPhone with the Remarkable Paper Pro Move. The device is very nice.
Worst app
This app is so bad. You cannot read a single PDF without loading. You cannot download the entire PDF. Please fix.
Won’t Pair
Phone won’t Pair with the Tablet no matter how many times I’ve tried. I let the phone on over night Pairing and woke up to my phone dead and Not Paired…
doesn’t function
I installed the app on my iPad and when I try to open it, it blinks on then disappears.
App syncs poorly
I’ve had the tablets (2 and pro) for years and love them but the app fails to sync quite often and takes a long time to sync so I can’t add PDFs and start working on them from my tablet immediately. I hoped this would be improved with updates but have gone through several and still have yet to notice improvements in this. There should be an option to synch one file or one folder so you don’t have to sit through the app taking 25 minutes to synch through everything before you can access what you need on the app.

Love the device. But the app stinks.
Sorry but there needs to be feature parity between the device and the app. Why can’t we search handwriting in the app? Why can’t we share sheet things from safari into the app (and therefore the device)?
No pen support
The app basically makes you able to organize and do a few things with content you create on your remarkable. Having no pen support, and no ability to add to notes or in a pinch take notes on an iOS device severely limits the usefulness of this app.
Recent app issues
Not functional on iPad 7. Has also become very slow on android mobile lately, with page interactions getting stuck on 3 bouncing dots image and app unable to render the page any more. Was enjoying the device and app prior to this. I hope these glitches are addressed soon.

Allow for writing
The app should allow for writing on the iPad and dual way sync between your remarkable device and the iPad. We clearly have your device and allowing the App on the AppStore to update the notebook in the could would take this app from 3 to 5 starts.
reading has become impossible!
the stupid three-dot progress bar just keeps waving about while trying to render a page in any pdf. whatever you did to the ios/ipados app, pls. revert - the app is now unusable!
Need an overhaul
Please add ability to sort with tags, ability to work with OCR of the notes. Selection of OCR languages per page for multilingual notes.
What new or what they removed
The removal of importing documents from within this app means that you have many more processes to import any file.

Doc sharing and editing is a nightmare
Oof. The app and syncing are anything but intuitive. Can I open my phone and easily manipulate a note I wrote down yesterday on the Remarkable? Nope. I’ve wasted a full morning trying to figure this out. I hate to return or toss a nice gift someone gave me, but this is a leap forward for writing tablets and a huge leap backward for document management. Avoid unless you do a full training before you buy.
