This was my 6th app that I downloaded for a tv. This one actually linked correctly. I lost my remote so I need to order one but decided to check to see if there was an app. I actually like it on my phone more haha. I'm too impressed I don't even need the controller ...

My brother spilled something on my remote and it stopped working. I tried to buy a universal and wasn’t able to get that to work then I returned it. Somehow I came across this app a day later and it’s great, no more losing my brother either!!!

I looked for this in the App Store when I couldn’t find my remote. Found the app, downloaded and it works great. I also immediately found my remote but having this is bonus since I always have my phone.
Roku remote
The app was so helpful that I have to share this , my new dog is teething and chewed up the remote and that’s all we do is watch roku. As I was thinking how can I get another one and found the app I was saying I can trick my girls and they was no understanding the remote is broke but the thing was turning channels lol.

I love this Roku thing
Sometimes I lose my remote so this helps me so much and I love it so much and one time my remote stopped working and I used it all night it was so cool I think I got Roku all over my house so this is 10 times better cause I always have my phone I love that.
Convenient
Nice to have this option, as kids keep misplacing the original remote. Also the app doesn’t need to be pointed right at the TV, as does the remote.
It would be even better if there were an option to use phone keyboard for entering passwords (as the app just replicates the onerous setup of the actual remote).

Helpful as heck
So my home remote doesn’t work and keeps shutting off my tv. But after downloading this it doesn’t do it anymore. Plus I like to use my cell for everything. I just wish I didn’t have to pay to get rid of the ads but otherwise amazing app 😊👍🏾
So grateful for this app
Lost our remote and didn’t know what to do. We were able to connect our Roku TV via the hardline (ethernet cable) and then use this app to control it. Now we don’t even care if we find the remote, using our phones is so much easier and better!
Lost remote life saver
I love this convenient little app for my three Roku 4k HD televisions because my 1 yr old loses the remotes to each tv, daily. I hit my app and my devices pair automatically (unless I have more than one tv on). Fortunately, you can change the name of your device to deal with that issue. Such a simple life saver!

Great Remote
Yes, I’m one of those fools who periodically lose my remote. It can end up anywhere including my purse. That is why it is SO wonderful to also have the ROKU remote app. Let’s face it ladies and gentlemen we all lose our remotes sometimes, but we are much more careful with our far too expensive cell phone. This app is SO AWESOME!

It’s a good app if you continuously lose your remote. It’s has a lot of adds but you can remove them for 1.99. If you are planning on getting a new phone anytime soon i don’t recommend purchasing the app before because it will not transfer over. I paid for the app and got a new phone but the payment will not restore.

I lose everything I touch. But thanks to my Apple Watch I can’t lose my phone. So the fact that I can put my TV remote on my phone reinsurers me that I will always have my TV remote. Plus I have 3 kids and with 2 rokos in the house this app is a blessing.
Just the ads almost every 5 seconds
It’s really good and works like a normal remote. You can change the volume and control the tv even if your in a different room! The only thing I don’t like is that after you press the “OK” button 1-3 times there’s an ad every single time. I find that really annoying, but, overall the app is pretty good!

Roku IOS remote
I love all the features on the IOS roku remote on my iPhone works perfectly fine. There is only one thing about the roku remote I can’t do from my phone is The roku remote cannot turn my TV on from the off position. Once I turn my tv on, I can then use the roku remote from my phone. Overall five stars I recommend

So much to choose from old and new for the entire family. So far these gloomy winter days all my kids prefer to be inside with so many options they can all agree on rather than to freeze their rear-ends off. Usually they’d prefer to freeze and warm up with hot cocoa after now we are all enjoying more cuddle time on the couch!

Awesome with one flaw
So this app is a great way to use your Roku tv especially if you lost your remote or etc. But there is just one flaw with this app. The private listening glitches on and off. Sometimes just closing the app will work, but other times it’s just stuck like that. I would love it if this bug was fixed. But other than that flaw this app is great and works very well, I would definitely recommend to other people, (sorry that I’m not very good at writing reviews lol)

Ads are ABSOLUTELY, RIDICULOUS!!!!
I will lose my mind if I use this Ap another time. I really don’t mind an ad here and there, but on this Ap, it totally interferes with the functionality of the Ap.
Every time I hit a button - could be play, pause, rewind, forward - I get two very loud and noisy ad for some random game Ap or whatever, I couldn’t really say, because I’m busy trying to find a way to X out of it - finally X out, and forgot what I was trying to do. It’s just Super Annoying, and there are other Roku Aps that don’t do that.
In fact, I don’t think I’ve ever used ANY AP - EVER that popped up ads EVERY TIME you touch a key.
And I, too have never left a review - ever, but this one deserved my time and effort.
