I cannot do this

I’m trying to change it around cause I just paired it with my TV and I literally cannot press a single button without it popping up saying oh you need subscription I will pay for the lifetime. It doesn’t even show me that I can watch an ad I’d rather do that but it’s like every button I press I can’t even turn volume down, scroll down back out of the app that I’m in which I can do with my actual remote and I thought this would be a game changer cause I saw the first couple of reviews, but you need to pay to do literally anything
