This is a scam, it doesn’t even deserve one star!
I downloaded this application and I was told it would be free, but I got charged almost $40 plus another two dollars for something that ended up being a dating app instead of a remote control for my DIRECTV. I tried to cancel, and there is simply no way to do it and I ended up having to report this as a fraud payment and I now have to get a new credit card. I am currently having several major health issues and don’t need to go through this right now. Do not download this app.

Does not work
I downloaded this app because I lost my remote but I got it connected. Finally it took me about 20 minutes just to connect when I got on there. All I did was vibrate. It did not do anything to my TV. If I could rate this zero stars I would I do not recommend it for anyone.
Useless
I downloaded this App because I could not find my remote. Apparently you need a remote to connect this device. It was not what I needed.

I am giving this app a one star only because there is no option for no stars.
First: Claims my email is invalid.
Second: Claims the app is free, but requires credit card data.
Third: Has significant difficulty connecting to my WiFi.

Major issue
Works one time after installing. Pick your Direct DVR’s IP address and you are ready to go. If you leave app open you may have to select the IP again to use. However, if you quit app, the next time you try to use it, it opens and quits immediately. You have to delete the app and reinstall again to use.

Works great!
When I first downloaded the app, I had some issues. Then then I read you must close out the of the app properly. After doing so, the app works perfectly.
Crashes
Downloaded the app, connected to television, paid the $3.99 then the app crashed. Unable to use this. Restarted the phone yet the app would not open. I want my refund.
Junk app.
Couldn’t get it to work and tried for hours. It seems to be a gimmick to get you to accidentally download another app as you’re trying to set this one up. My advice is to not waste your time with this poor app.
DONT DOWNLOAD
It is the WORST. After the whole process of setting it up, it asked me to USE the remote to set it up. If I had a remote, I wouldn’t have a reason to download this.
In need of updates
This app needs to be updated. It doesn’t work for me at all. Last update was 2 years ago and that’s too long.
Crashes
This is the second time I’ve tried this app. Both times ended the same. Works awesome the first and maybe second time. Then it won’t open. Flashes on quickly, then crashes off. Will not work again unless I delete then download again. Just not going to do that again. Don’t waste your time on this app

Works great when first set up......but crashes when reopened
This worked great once I opened it and identified my receivers IP address. But it once you close app and try to reopen it the app crashes.
It crashes every time I leave the app
Love the app but it crashes I have to delete it off my phone then re add it to my device other than that I would’ve given it 5 stars.

The app closes and just shuts down when you try to reopen it if you could fix that it would be a really good app other then that it works perfect
Worked Great!
I loaded it on my iPhone 11 and it connected no problem. Worked fantastic with absolutely no problems. I tried to use that night.,when I opened the remote on my phone and it came on and then off quickly. I rebooted my phone tried it again and no luck. Excellent app just need to tell me what I am doing wrong.

Directions won’t connect
I tried to follow the directions, but they are inaccurate for my box. No “external devices” area to select from. Not sure if directv has updated and the app creator has not.
Works once then need to delete and reload
App works great first time but after that you can’t open it anymore it crashes everytime. You have to delete it and reload it. Please fix this issue
Buggy
Set it up, works for an hour. Then, every time you try to use it, it crashes. Apple 10max w OS up to date, DirecTV RC73 remote selected. Please do more testing before deploying.
No buy
Free version worked fine. Once I paid to remove the ads, system crashes and will not load.
Problems
After I close the app I cannot reopen it. I must delete it and reinstall. It’s frustrating to say the least. The sound functions don’t work nor does the button to stop a recorded video. If the writers fix these problems it will be a smashing success.
