The app requires tv to be connected to wifi but it’s not a smart tv so no wifi & its a 2011. I got sooooo excited for nothing. Smh odd considering they don’t make TV’s anymore

My dog literally ate my remote and I have an older tv with Xfinity Flex. Figured it would be easier to just use this until the remote comes in right? Wrong. Doesn’t work with a tv from 2015. 🙄 I like listening to the tv when I’m doing things. I don’t even watch it. I just want to listen while folding laundry or doing dishes. Hard to do when you can’t use your tv due to multiple crappy apps and a puppy. :/

So far so good but
This is the best IOS remote for a Panasonic plasma since the last one got updated then promptly stopped working. This one isn’t perfect but it gets the job done, and it’s an eight year old TV! I just wish it could fit onto my XR-Plus screen instead of having to drag it up and down.
Does not work on new 4K UHD player
Get a DP-UB420 today. This app shows the player’s remote but when I click on the player’s IP address the app does nothing.
Doesn’t work for old devices
You need to have a device that can connect to wifi - so my old blu ray player doesn’t really cut it. Who knows what data it’s harvesting from connecting to your wifi network. You’re better off buying a new remote, if you can possibly help it.

I’m sorry that a lot of people hate your app. But I also am very happy that a lot of people do you like your app at the same time so it’s kind of mixed. I waited three stars because there are ads but I don’t care about them. And there’s a glitch that allows it to work on any device. Not just Panasonic.

I spilled tea on my remote last night and broke it and I had no idea what to do so I just searched Panasonic remote and I couldn’t believe this exists!! It works perfect you can pick the exact remote you have and it works as if I still had the real one. I never write reviews but I’m actually blown away at how well this works so I had to lol
