Didn’t work for my element roku tv.
Worth every penny.
TL;DR it's fast, lightweight, and 1000x better than the Roku app. Buy it.
This is an excellent alternative to the default Roku app. Unlike the Roku app, this Remu is very quick, lightweight, and reliable. The Siri functionality is also fantastic--the Roku app has to actually open the app to control the TV, but with this I can use the Shortcuts app on my watch to turn on my TV and light strip at the same time.
The only two things I wish were included would be the ability to use the volume buttons on my phone to control the volume on my TV, and to have a default TV to control when the app opens. My TV is on a network with dozens of others, so this would be really convenient.

Edit: the app can switch inputs with a shortcut, exactly what I wanted!
Really responsive remote and a great design. Only request is for more shortcuts! I’d love to be able to open an app or switch tv inputs with a Siri shortcut. Keep up the great work!

The app will not open. Took my money
Doesn’t recognize my element roku tv
When searching for a device it does not find my Roku TV. They are both on and connected to the same WIFI network. So, obviously some people have good luck with it, but if you don’t wanna risk wasting your money, I’d advise against this app.
Roku
I paid 5 bucks so I wouldn’t put up with the connection problems the free roku remote apps gave me and this one didn’t start off any better but it is improving and the tech support through email has really been impressive. Sometimes I’m a little impatient.

Hi There, the fact that you experience the same with other apps as well indicates that your Roku goes to power saving or sleep mode or your WiFi router somehow doesn’t work correctly with your devices. Would you be able to check the power settings on your Roku?

Way faster than official Roku App
I don't understand how, but this app is so much quicker than the official Roku app for me. I use this all the time when I can't find my remote (or I'm too lazy to pick it up 😆)
