Doesn’t function with an iPad
I’m on an iPad and I can’t get apps like excel to open, the track pad that works with the iPad doesn’t work with the program. Not a viable option.

Viel zu wenige Möglichkeiten – man kann darauf ruhig verzichten. Mit dem Tool kann man praktisch nichts anfangen: Man kann sich zwar seinen eigenen Desktop ansehen, aber bedienen lässt sich damit leider gar nichts. Alles ist viel zu umständlich. Schade.
Lately stopped working on iPad
For some reason, my iPhone connects perfectly fine but my iPad keeps saying wrong password and I’ve checked all the settings a dozen times and I’ve reset the password and it still works on the iPhone, but it won’t work on the iPad, just weird

It is ok for viewing - to help someone on the other end - but too many features are lacking.

A fair point at the time. The old app has been replaced with a new one, built anew as a full mobile version of our desktop Viewer: Full Control, File Transfer and Power Control modes, multi-monitor support, and an address book with folders and sync. An updated rating would mean a lot.

Die App ist nicht wirklich nutzbar, RU Server kann nicht genutzt werden wie gewünscht, App friert immer wieder ein.

That was a defect of the old app. We have replaced it with a brand-new one that shares none of the old code, and it runs properly on current iOS. We would welcome your reassessment.

iOS App unusable
The Windows Host is a great product, but the iOS App is really unusable. Since months the support only say „we do have plans to improve and revamp the mobile Viewer in our future updates“
Fast to take your money, but never delivers promised features
They will not hesitate to take your money for a license, and the software isn’t bad as long as you assume you will never get new features or fixes, even if they promise them. Check out their support forums, they are full of promises and upset customers who have been told for years that XXX feature is right around the corner, and it never appears. If you want software with trustworthy customer support, look somewhere else.

It is fair that the mobile app went a long time with few updates while the desktop software moved ahead. Rather than answer that with another promise, we can point to what has already shipped: the old app has been replaced with a completely new application, a full mobile version of our desktop Viewer, and it is now developed and released alongside the current desktop version. It is worth another look.

Hit or miss on Windows
My pc reboots every midnight
Some days it starts your host, other days no, running latest windows version. Meh

Good to use something on my iPad to access…
But unfortunately it is quite cumbersome and finicky to use. Was hoping the app would make it easier to access it when I’m on the road however I actually have to drag the cursor to the point I want and then click which is rather annoying.
Cursor Missing
I can’t see the remote cursor using the ios app. It shows up when using windows version.

Possibility to create folders to group the customers.
Possibility to connect to the server manager just to sync the contacts.
Possibility (I didn’t see it at least) to connect to customers in only view mode.
Possibility also to select the particular screen in case there are multiple monitors.

Sound capture problem
I can’t capture the host’s sound with my iphone. Will it be fix?
Works on IPhone 8 in 2021!
Teamviewer user here, this is the alternative that worked for me... sometimes it takes a couple of attempts to connect and load the remote screen, or it might drop the connection mid-session but overall it works over 90% of the time for me to get remote support done via mobile. If RemoteUtilities gives you any issues try AnyDesk as another option.

Guys, we need an update
If this app supported even half of the Remote Utilities core features it would be great, but as it is this is pitiful for a RMM tool in 2020.
