Excellent App! Works Great
Bought the bundle and carefully followed directions from YouTube video. And it works seamlessly with FS2020. Don’t know why this has gotten negative reviews, but maybe the updates fixed the bugs. I highly recommend this, especially the bundle!

This app makes FSX crash
Not able to connect to the server. And FSX crashes.
Best app for FSX
Before finding this app I used ForeFlight for my FSX flight following, using my iPad mini as a gps. However, FF costs a crazy monthly fee and is meant for actual aviation and not simming. I also experienced many disconnects with FF and needed something different.
I decided to try Remoteflight and this app allows me to flight follow and display my flight plans. It is everything I need and looks great!
Some suggestions for the developers are that it would be nice if you could use pinch-zoom while the gps locked to the plane, using the + and - buttons is pretty annoying. Also it would be great if you could create and edit flight plans through this app!

Great Moving Map for Flight Sim
One thing that would make this great app even better would be a vfr map overlay so I can see things like VORs AND NDBs
Great app
I use this app for x-plane 10 and it work very well with lots of user preferences. The downside is having to run a server in background. Setup is a little confusing the first time but once all falls into place the app is well worth it.

I have a suggestion anyway that an option that makes possible to export actual area from the app to google maps or apple maps itself to view it on them. Exporting google earth would be wonderful by the way.
Another thing is it crashes with google maps if you change zoom rate before map is completely loaded.

Hidden costs - be careful - more expensive than described
I bought this app and downloaded the server for it. Only then did I find out I would have to spend another $40 to get a third party driver for the server. I elected to go another route!

Sorry, but this simply isn't true. That third party server you are referring to (FSUIPC) has a voluntary registration that unlocks its advanced features, but these are not necessary for RemoteFlight to work.
RemoteFlight Map HD
One of the better FSX mapping apps for the iPad. Very easy to use. A very large choice of map types to choose from all excellent. For an addon with FSX this app is a must.

RemoteFlight Server didn't work...
I bought RemoteFlight Cockpit, RemoteFlight Map HD, and RemoteFlight Radio HD. I had a problem getting the apps to connect to the RemoteFlight server on my PC. Vlada, the developer, responded to my requests for help and we got it all working. The apps are very well done and make FSX and Prepar3D even more enjoyable. Great apps and great support!

I absolutely love this. I have been an avid MSFS user ever since it was released and I have always wished there was an add-on that allows me to know 'exactly" where I am. RemoteFlight Map HD does exactly that. The graphics in flight sim is somewhat limited in regions where towns are small and not shown, RemoteFlight Map tells me where I am at. I live in a region surrounded by a lot of lakes, MSFS graphics would make it difficult to find my home, this program allowed me to find my home and to land on the lake with no problem The sample photos shown in the description are actual, they also include the regular Google Map and other map choices. This definitely is worth an investment if you're an avid flight simmer. For what this does, it's actually a good price.

Great app for FSX
This is a great add on to FSX allowing you to view exactly where you are anywhere in the world while flying
Easy to install and set up and it's so much better than using the on board gps that comes default with FSX ,only wish I had download it sooner.

I bought this app so when I fly cross country I can track my flight, most of the time I fly Southwest and they have Wi-Fi so I thought it would be nice to track my flight...... Only thing app does not work as it should. It wants you to in put an IP address and a Port number...... IP address is easy even on Southwest, put a port number!!!! Give me a break... Why does it not find them for you? I have written to the developer but so far no answer , I have to say at this point, "sitting in the plane without my working app" it is a waste of money.

Excellent app, no problems setting up, and up and running in no time!
My only suggestions would be an option to allow you to be able to see the path you've flown, and the ability to 'pinch to zoom' the map.

Great app!
All around great app! The moving map is nice. I really love how I can watch my aircraft taxi around airports using the google map/earth layout. Had a problem activating my flight plans but the author provided a fix immediately. Impressed with his great service. Well worth the purchase!
