A Consistently Frustrating and Costly Experience

We worked with Remy through Lumina for a couple of years, and unfortunately, our experience was consistently negative. We experienced nearly daily glitches, including issues with the POS system syncing properly with Square, the entire system crashing or going black while customers were actively checking out, and settings and features unexpectedly changing without warning. We consistently lost sales because the system wasn't functioning properly. Items would randomly be marked as sold out in Remy even when they were still available in Square, and the lack of a basic search feature made the checkout process unnecessarily difficult. A search function should be a standard feature in any modern POS system.

What made the experience particularly frustrating was the complete lack of accountability. Every time we brought forward a clear, system-related issue, we were told that the problem was on our end or that it was our "environment." This was repeatedly the response despite the fact that we use numerous other online systems throughout our business and have never experienced comparable network issues. Our concerns were not meaningfully addressed, our feedback was never acted upon, and the same problems continued to pile up over time. Rather than seeing improvements, we found ourselves dealing with an increasing number of issues and little meaningful support or ownership from the Remy team.

For a system that businesses rely on for daily transactions, this level of inconsistency created ongoing frustration, disrupted our customers' checkout experience, and directly impacted our sales.

The only real positive feedback I can offer is that the interface looks sleek and modern. Unfortunately, the visual design does not make up for the reliability issues, unexpected changes, lack of basic functionality, and poor support we experienced.
