Better then I thought
I think I was overly negative in my initial review. Now that I have had the time to work through the functionality I actually like the new version of the app. So four stars now.
Perfect example of why you shouldn’t fix things that aren’t broke
The original app was fantastic, now you’ve forced people to move over (the app says not until the end of December but now I have a permanent notification that can’t be clicked out of that tells me to move to the new app) and the new app is absolute rubbish. All of the data I used to have right in front of me as soon as I opened the app I now have to go hunting for. It’s also super slow and glitchy to load whereas I NEVER had this issue with the original app. There was absolutely nothing wrong with it, I will never understand this desperation in always having to “upgrade” things that work perfectly fine as is definitely going to buy a new device so that I don’t have to use the new app because it’s such a waste of time trying to use.

Complete Breath Of Fresh Air!!
Ann app that actually works, it just works! Seamlessly! Has so much useful information, so easy to navigate, so far no subscriptions or anything either 🤷🏼♂️. Too good to be true? Its brilliant honestly 👌🏼

Needs linking to more apps
Good app but you need to link the Activity section to Apple Health (like the Withings app does and even reports on heart rate levels throughout your workout) and the Calorie Intake to apps like MyFitnessPal. Other apps do this, I bet most people don’t bother manually entering this info in (nor have a ring for activity data).

This new version absolutely sucks. They got rid of the dashboard that was in the old Renpho app. Now you have to click through to find your bmi, muscle mass etc. They now have adverts on the front page. The colour coding is gone. All the things I used have been removed or made more difficult to access. They’ve added useless stuff like a social feed to connect with people. Like who cares, I’m just trying to weigh myself.

C’est quoi cette mise à jour franchement ? Toutes mes donnes, 6 ans de donnes disparus, l’obligation de se crée un compte et quoi, vous gardez mes données de santé sur un cloud ? Piratable donc ?
L’interface est minable, contre intuitive et laide. J’ai pas à vous donner des informations personnelles vous avez rêvez. Accessoirement, j’en est rien à faire que l’appli me dise de combien de calorie j’ai besoin je fais ce que je veux en fait

Horrible customer service
This company is terrible, their customer service seems like it is an AI chatbox, they reply to your customer support e-mails with AI nonsense and don’t support their products. Their “30 day no hassle free warranty” is a blatent lie. You’ve been warned.

I’m glad I invested my $ into the nova body composition scales, and the health app is really great & easy to use. The only reason I put 4 stars instead of 5 is that I wish I could find is how to increase my water intake in the nutrition section - it maxes out at 3750ml, but I consume more than that (for my body needs) and I need to track the levels to ensure I have met my quota for the day and avoid the side effects from not drinking enough. Is this there and I can’t find it, or can it be an easy fix? I’ll change to 5 stars when I can do that 🤗

Why????
I have used Renpho since 2020 and been extremely happy with two scales purchased (for two locations), but now I have to download this new app which does not have the same useful layout as the old app and seems to be focused on a weight loss plan and is missing many of the old metrics. Why? Why “fix” things that are not broken??? I have other apps for weight loss, I really liked seeing the other metrics like if I am hydrated enough (never). I don’t want to track calories in this app. I just want to track weight metrics. Progress is sometimes leaving things alone when they are working well and not forcing people to “upgrade.”

Hallo Renpho, seit dem letzten Update leider kein Signalton mehr wenn die Messung abgeschlossen ist. Hat auch nichts mit den Einstellungen zu tun, Signalton ist überall eingeschaltet. Bitte beheben, ansonsten eine prima App!
Do not like the new app
The trends in the legacy app used to give me a range like healthy overweight or obese. I loved that because it was an easy visual that I could see change. I miss that feature so much. Also the look is not user friendly like it used to be with the dashboard with all the boxes of measurements you could see easily. Not a fan, almost getting ready to look for a different scale. I used to love it

Amazing !
These scales really changed the way we monitor our fitness. My extended family have all bought some too! It doesn’t just show your weight but other info so you’re not obsessing over how much you way but how healthy you are. It’s a great indicator and works well with the scales. Super clear app and good explanations of all the data.

App Crashes
On day one and the app keeps crashing

New app is worse than old app. In new app I can’t even find the data for the second user of the scales. Trend data for second user seems to be lost.
Great app, but…
I love the kitchen scale and app! They’ve made tracking my macros much easier and more convenient. However, I’ve noticed that a lot of foods are missing from the app, and there doesn’t seem to be a way to create a recipe and then weigh the finished dish after cooking. This makes tracking meals, especially dinners that I prepare for two people, much more difficult. While I can calculate the portions manually, having a recipe feature similar to what many other nutrition apps offer would be a great improvement.
Additionally, the app would benefit from a feature that allows users to scan nutrition labels when a food item isn’t already available in the database. This would make adding custom foods faster and improve the overall user experience.
