The best
It helps with so much with rewarding you by giving you a manga page and they made their own manga and it helps you learn words and so much more. It helps with my Japanese helps other peopleās Japanese and I will say that itās rewarding and thatās why itās fun.

Amazing resource
I almost never leave reviews but this app is stellar!! From lessons to games, all you could want is here. Itās cute, feels like a real community, and has a great dictionary! Genuinely one of the best apps Iāve seen for learning. I keep coming back daily!!
One of the best apps I have come across
I have used a multitude of apps/sources for different languages so I feel like I got a decent sense of what good looks like.
Renshuu is amazing in that itās very well structured and logical in its progression, highly customisable to meet someoneās unique needs, and brings together different elements from other good apps/sources (eg Anki, good dictionary, clear grammar explanations, kanji writing, exercisesā¦). On top of that it has a wonderful and supportive community, and the gamified nature of the app is great to keep you committed and engaged. Plus itās incredibly CUTE!
Youāll still need other tools/sources etc to learn Japanese well, as for any language there is no silver bullet, especially for Japanese. But as an all encompassing app, this is probably the best thing I have come across. Well done to the developers!

Better then Duolingo
I like that you have unlimited access to practice and when learning letters they give you a word to go with it

Best app for learning Japanese
Iāve tried a lot of different Japanese learning apps and been to classes but this is by far the best. it feels like a little community or classroom all coming together and learning. itās super fun and great for picking up new vocab but the menuās are a little confusing sometimes. itās maybe not the best for learning the alphabet as you really need to write them down to cement them in your brain and it doesnāt include that in the lessons (at least where Iāve gotten) Overall super great and it keeps improving.

Very good for kanji learning
This is probably the best language learning app Iāve seen, they even give you references for kanji such as āki looks like a keyā. Totally would recommend!!

Itās only been a day and I know 154 terms! it also has a discord server to get help with the app + resources, and has resources within the app, too! i would definitely recommend using renshuu as part of your japanese learning journey :)
Best app for Japanese
A perfect replacement for Duolingo for Japanese. Duolingo turned into Snapchat streak for obsession of never deeply learning a language. This app does the opposite, no pressure no gamification of a language.

An amazing app to learn Japanese
This app has it all, particles, word structure, words and even the alphabets, the UI is a bit cranky but the amount of learning potential you are getting for absolutely free is insane! I love the app and i am oh so grateful to whoever made it!
Very comfortable !!
The info is organized well and easy to learn. Renshuu really shines with its vocab and kanji since youāre able to see the conjugation forms and comments from others. The community interaction is very nice too. 10/10, thanks for creating such an easy learning app!
Learned more in 3 days than 3 months
When I downloaded renshuu I wondered if it had adds like Duolingo and there are no adds. I have been trying to learn the hiragana alphabet on Duolingo for MONTHS and I was just stuck at the same place put when I downloaded this app I picked it up sooo fast and learned it in 3-4 days . I highly recommend this app

amazing app
i have already learned more than i did in a year on duolingo. i love how they openly admit they do not use ai, i have spent quite a while trying to find an app like this with 0 ai. they do not force purchases or ads down your throat like most apps. i cannot recommend this app enough. please continue to update and care for this app, sometimes the best apps just abandon them after a few years, i would love to see this app continue to grow and evolve over the years.
