Self tours
I enjoy being able to visit the homes at my own leisure. Easy accesible. Most properties are clean and ready to see.
AI will block without reason and support doesn’t care.
I had an account years ago, only used to browse. Didn’t end up needing them and closed the account. It’s been 3 years and my lease is over. One of the PM companies uses Rently and I reactivated my account again. I viewed places and liked one, I paid for the verified renters everything was great. Then I tried to schedule my first tour and my account was blocked for “touring”. I have no idea what they means and support won’t tell me. I had to file a charge back since I couldn’t use the services without a valid reason.

I can’t even forward my application after the payment process , but that’s too bad because I already put in my sensitive information!!
Application Verification Process
Every-time I get a new phone and redownload the rently app I go thru hell attempting to verify my identity. I have had to do this at least TWICE with the exact same ID and person demographics (NAME, Zip code & DOB). My information should be saved. They apparently don’t have virtual or physical customer service agents available to help on Saturdays which causes huge inconveniences to potential renters who can only tour on Saturdays.

Very cool to be able to schedule and view within minutes. Cool idea!
App needs updating
My app keeps saying it needs update but when I go to update it just says open and keeps sending me in a circle. Tried to get in contact with Rently support online and they’re useless as I supposed they would be. Chat function does not work even when you say chat with agent. I’ve paid for a subscription and I’m tired of these apps giving me trouble and not having any available help

Used to be great…. But…
Used to be a super convenient app to tour houses with no pressure. Pay a few $ and tour. Now they want you to be prequalified and obtain so much more info. Maybe greed got in the way. I don’t want to fill out all my info when I’m just browsing and not looking to make a move for a few months.

Literally can’t do anything on the app anymore because a screen pops up that says update in progress. No update is in progress
Fake/scam Application
This is one of the biggest scam application ever. They don’t even verify the owner of the house and allow tenants to view the houses and later turns out be a biggest scam of owner asking for a deposit of one month’s rent. No proper authentication and pure scam. Please do not download this app
Easy to Navigate. 100% recommend.
Lots to love. But most impressive is how quick i learned to navigate the app. Love the features. Love the “tour now” feature too!

This app is trash! When your at the location of the home you are touring,it says it cannot locate you. You have your location on and still cannot locate you then try to call the number that’s supposedly to be 24/7 and no answer just leave a message. You cannot talk a person just AI
Misleading
They say that you can take a tour with ID and facial scan and then at the very end they tell you that you need to pay to tour.
WARNING
Wasted 15 mins to validate info and then AFTER they took all the info they showed a mandatory subscription for $11.99. UNETHICAL and will file a COMPLAINT with FCC.
Horrible app and customer service
I had tried calling them to schedule a self tour and they tell me I have to call the property . I call the property and they tell
Me I have to call Rently and it goes back and forth again and again. It doesn’t make sense . Now they require that I upgrade my app when I’ve been using it on my iPhone 6s. Waste of time and money.

Inaccurate and Lack of Zoning
I live in a town that’s separated by a major high way and this app only recognizes one side of the town. There’s no town name over the area where I desire to live so I decided to use the main street name instead. This showed me the neighboring town that does not have that street name at all. I tried to pick the school name in my desired location and again no results. I know for a fact there are rentals available and listed because I had zero issue looking this up on Zillow. I also tried to tap the map in my desired area to with they said I was out of area for my desired town. I’ll just stick to Zillow.

Don’t waste your time
This is a total scam I haven’t been able to schedule any tours at all have don’t the verification process many times my card continues to get charged
