Can’t type on iPhone 16
The app doesn’t let you type a description on iPhone. If you start typing in description box, it lets you add a few words and then will not let you add any more words or delete words or use voice to text.

I like the app when you saw the time to report dumping or other issues. It would be great if if there was a way for it to be integrated with reporting Non Emergency police type issues. Like people who have the ring doorbell too loud or other stuff where you don’t really wanna call the police, but you want the city notified so they can come check on it. Or having them check on buildings during permit stuff like that if there was a way we could just submit that online and have someone check it out that would be great. i’m really glad we have this app. I think it helps. Keep city clean.

Hit or miss if city takes care of requests
The idea is great and it is easier to submit requests. The only down side is not everyone owns a smart phone. It is not easy to submit a request through the computer. You have to really search and hunt for the link to do one. Reasonable requests get acknowledged and taken. Care of in a 2-3 week timely manner. While others get ignored or neglected all together. Some areas of renton are still trash pits with tons of problems. I reside in one of these where the city won’t acknowledge problems quickly nor fix them. City sweeps a lot of stuff under the rug and hopes people forget about it. Renton isn’t the nicest place to live in any more. My family has been here since the early 1900s and has seen a once upon a time nice city get destroyed by citizen that can’t respect their own town. City seems to focus more on down town area and leaves rural areas dry of assistance. Speeding is out of control in renton and city refuses to enforce speed limits. Homeless encampments are growing and city takes for ever to address the issue. The city does verify little for these people. The city sweeps and displaces them if groups grow more than five large. Otherwise they’re allowed to do drugs and trash the area. Comments are disabled for everyone. Please bring back this feature. It was helpful to add comments instead of creating a new inquiery. Chat is non existsnt in the app now. Another one of rentons ways of ignoring the public asking for assistance in their city. The app is only good on a phone. I tried on my 10” tablet and it is horrid.
