Hope it gets popular

It's the letterboxd for albums! I hope more people use it and I'm looking forward to its development

Ai slop

Completely Ai produced - quick money grab slop

Great app, some bugs

I personally love the app, I think the concept is great and it’s executed well, and I enjoy using it. There are some bugs however, which include my phones keyboard not disappearing when on some unrelated screen, or having to swipe to select my rating of stars being a bit broken. Not bugs per se, but quality of life inconveniences. However still a great app that I enjoy.

Thank you for your feedback and for trying out the app. Reprised is in its early stages and we are aware of the bugs and rough edges including the ones you mentioned, so they'll definitely be addressed in the next few updates.

INCREDIBLE APP

Just want to salute the dev for this. My girlfriend and I have been waiting for an actually decent Letterboxd-for-music for years. Reprised provides that and then some. Feature packed, easy to use, with some incredible design choices. I’ve had it for several weeks now and have actually been eagerly checking back every one or two days. Reminds me of early days on the internet. Looking forward to seeing this grow.

Thank you so much for trying out Reprised. And I truly appreciate you taking the time to write this. This is (for now) a solo endeavour that is growing slowly but surely. I'm also looking forward to what the future holds. You'll most likely stumble upon some rough edges here and there but rest assured, there will be continuous updates with bug fixes, optimizations and new features.

My Favorite App

I’ve told everyone in my circles about this app. This is an amazing app for logging music and keeping track of when you’ve heard releases. The user interface is clean and easy to use. Excited to see the new features roll out!

Response from developer

Thank you for trying it out! It's an ambitious thing to take on and there's plenty still to improve, but I'm working on it every day.

So great!

So much fun.

AI Slop and no community

Just try musicboard

barely works

you can get insane amounts of latency on just about any action seemingly at random. albums won't load, the search feature won't come up with results for the most popular albums, the star slider is buggy and broken. like the other guy said, really great concept but feels like vibe coded and outsourced.

Thanks for the detail. I'm aware it's rough in places and I'm working through it as a solo founder.

Ai coded slop

The concept behind this app is cool, but the execution feels lackluster. It’s clear that this is a vibe coded rip of the letterboxd ui with very little care, actually put into the product. I’ve come across countless ui and performance issues. The subscription is obviously a cash grab as well. I also wish that I could export my data. There are some cool things like the decode feature, but it feels like a much lesser version of what Spotify has implemented.

Thanks for being specific, that's more useful than most feedback. Export is a fair ask and I'm building it. On the subscription: logging, rating, reviewing, lists, some cached data and the whole social side are free and will stay that way. The paid tier covers research that costs real money per album, licensed APIs, search, and the writing behind it. Still working through the UI and performance issues. If you remember specifics, support@reprised.app comes straight to me. It's just me building this.

I have been asking for this for years

Letterboxd, but for albums, perfect

Response from developer

Thank you! That was exactly the idea, the thing I wanted to exist and couldn't find. Working on it every day, plenty more coming. If there's anything you want to see in it, feel free to reach out.
