Unfriendly in every way
The log in time is really slow and the wait time for transactions to process is also slow. I say this because I do have other bank accounts that are foreign based. So my comparison os real. Also I recently had to produce 2026 statements. Unless I missed something, I had to individually create a query for each month. For my foreign accounts, a per month statement was produced but I only needed to run one query to get those. Republic recently won an award for something tech related. That is great but OMG, the app is

LOGIN NIGHTMARE
No customer service 800 number; not available on WhatsApp. I placed over 5 phone calls to their long distance number for help in trying to logon to my account. After their strict troubleshooting and logon instructions, I am still not able to logon to my acct. And I have been told to call back another day to speak with their internet banking dept. I don’t know why they hadn’t transferred me to that dept in the first place. This is very frustrating.

Sync processing doesn’t work

This app has too much of a buffering time after synchronization or OTP.
Limited and too much security
Should be able to sign Into two accounts with this app. I.e, savings and business account simultaneously.
Adding a payee can only be done via web browser. This should be done on the app. App is very slow as well.
The security is way too tight. Moving from web browser to your device for sync approval etc

Worthless
This app is absolutely worthless, unfriendly and a waste of time. It doesn’t always open on my IOS devices. When it does work there are too many bells and whistles for just needing to check your bank balances…ned to go back to the drawing board on this one..
Worst bank ever
I am yet to have a positive interaction with this bank since I opened an account in January. My patience is running thin. When not even the mobile app opens, I wonder what I’m still there…☹️☹️
Disappointing
I updated to this new version as my previous version stopped working.
So far I have failed to get this new version to do anything useful. And, as others have commented, this app is very slow.

Awful app
This was a terrible app to begin with and now it seems like it’s not working properly every other week. I “try” to use it to send money to contacts and this weeks error is that none of my contacts are showing up. It’s bad enough that this app is more like circa 2005, but it would be nice if it at least worked.

Crashes as soon as opened
Was not able to use it ever. Previous version and the just released 1.8.0 as well. The app instantly crashes and force closes itself when opened. Reinstalls do not help. iPhone 15 plus. 17.5.1

The service by the bank to correct the issue leave a lot to be desired. My personal opinion: WORST BANK TO HIT THE OECS TERRITORIES. Republic really need to listen to customers. Stop disrespecting nationals from other countries!

Terrible app, login issues and terrible functionality
Garbage app. Get it together the Scotia Bank app was way better than this and developed much earlier

There is clearly something wrong with this app. The previous version worked fine but now I am lucky if I am able to get in at all.
App keeps signing out
Since this last review the app does not stay logged in at all. I hope this can’t be fixed very soon

Rubbish doesn't give a chance to instal. I can't see my bank account.

No choice in banking leads to the most shabby and worse than a 3rd world service, no access for 3 months with supercilious condescending staff.

Republic bank ec app keeps crashing for iphone 14. Please update with improvements and fixes.

This app was poorly done. There’s room for allot of improvement. Really disappointed that I had to wait so long for THIS.
