App constantly crashes on iOS 26.3 - iPhone 14
v1.25.0 Disables Login
Since updating to version 1.25.0 I was logged out and can’t log back in. Can’t login via the browser because that needs the app to either get the sync approval or OTP. Surprised that it’s still unresolved. Do better.
Good but need works
App is okay but sign in methods need to be updated please adjust this to make it simpler to access. The OTP and sync Approval is outdated. Recommendations - Authenticator, OTP via text not in the app
Wasting my time
I’ve been trying to get this app to work for the longest while sent emails made calls and nothing. Every time I get an os update on my phone I try it again and still not even opening just pop up and close off immediately. This is frustrating
Over secure and complicated
Both my phones got wet so Face ID and Touch ID stopped working. My Bank of America app still lets me in with password but not republic. Update 5yrs later… the system is often down AND I can’t get the code via text msg with an important transaction to pay for. WORST BANKING APP AND SYSTEM EVER. I HATE IT!

Waste of time
The worst app I’ve ever used. Banking shouldn’t be this damn hard

Doesn’t work. Period. The RBL screen opens then disappears. This happens on my iPad Air 3rd generation.
Login spotty
Functionality spotty - not always sure that you’ll be able to login and especially with the removal of the overview option, you have to login to see your account balance
App keeps crashing
Got a new iPhone 16 and app keeps crashing. Was told by contact centre they are aware of issue with iPhone 13 and above and I just need to wait on a fix
Easy but stressful
Very easy and flexible to use ONCE SET UP!! After that, pure stress! The sign in process for obtaining OTPs and Sync Approvals needs to be revised - for eg. if the app isn’t working, or I have a new device and doing the entire sign in process from scratch… I would sign in on the browser first but then they tell me I need the OTP from the app. How am I supposed to get the OTP from the app if the app is down or if I have a new device and my all my data is erased from previous phone? That logic is wild.
You need to make the OTP accessible through email or text, or create a more secure alternative method instead of forcing you to call them every time.
Another thing!!! Why, on the browser welcome page y’all have what seems to be a screenshot of a picture of where the app can be downloaded instead of putting actual WORKING BUTTONS to download the app? Like, are you guys serious? So many “Republic Bank” replicas on the App Store.
Not to mention, I researched the people who built RBL’s app and you know what, that tells me all I need to know.
But otherwise, again, once fully set up, very easy to use. 3 stars 🌟

Logging in
Can’t log into my account because of otp and sync approval doesn’t work as intended. SMS helps but removing it makes it harder to log in
Regression
This latest update removed the "at a glance" feature. Now I have to sign in and make additional clicks just to see my balance
Quick view of account balance
Since the recent update I no longer have the option to view my balances without having to log into the app. I don’t like that. Otherwise everything else is okay.
Banking at Fingertips
This is an OPTION u can OPT to participate in. those that prefer privacy over convenience can easily choose not to engage with the feature why remove it for everyone?? puzzling decision there not going to lie. Checking my balance at a glance is so time saving
What a Horrible Interface
For a bank that earns this much money, with such a huge team, this app is astoundingly horrible looking. The UI is 1998 and the amount of clicks you need to do anything is crazy. Honestly should simply start over and review what Scotia has done.
