Pretty Mid
It’s an interesting story, but the ending point kind of blows. I wish I could’ve gotten attached to the characters more and then seen what happens after they return to make my decision have weight. As it stood, it has none.
Far too short for the price
I love the premise of this and all your other games. I was so excited for where this was going! But then it’s over before it even starts going. A 10 minute game for $3 is frustrating and far too short. I hope you create a sequel or an expansion update because this was barely an interactive novel let alone a game. A good prelim idea to jump off of into a full game.

It’s a game!
A purchase of digital goods is not an exchange. It is nonsense to judge a video game by popular rules: how well it meets certain standards, or how much time it made you waste. A real game presents you with real life.
I couldn't say that Serenity is a masterpiece. It is only a game. By saying "game", I mean, it is a Game.

another amazing game
This designer is a GOAT. Everything he makes is great!
Fun game like A Dark Room
I really enjoyed this game. I downloaded it as an Apple suggestion and was thrilled within the first few minutes when I realized it was an Amirali Rajan game. I’ve been a huge fan of his storytelling since A Dark Room. This is a similar game - it paints a vivid picture with words and simple game play. It’s pretty short, but really intriguing!

Some things you should know before playing
A more engrossing story is than the average big-budget game with a refreshingly unique minimalist presentation. There are things you should know though:
There’s no saving so it must be completed in one session. So short that this isn’t a problem and will only takes a couple of minutes to skip to your last position, but can still be annoying if you don’t know in advance.
Replaying to try different choices turns out to be a waste of your time.
The minimalism extends to the length and conclusion (or lack thereof). I know this is an intentional artistic choice, and a unique experience is probably worth more than this, but to be honest I still would have felt disappointed if I didn’t already feel like I owed more than this for what I got out of A Dark Room and The Ensign.
If you haven’t already played those games, play them first and you’ll probably be happy to pay for a new snippet of good storytelling from the same creator. They use minimalism to the advantage of both story and gameplay in a structure that acts to exceed initial expectations.

Disappointed fan
I’ve played A Dark Room, The Ensign and Noble Circle. Fantastic and creative games with rich stories. All games made by Amirali Rajan. I’ve recommended those games to multiple people. I was looking forward to a new game from a great creator. I wouldn’t recommend this game to anyone. It took 10 minutes to finish. The “story” was bland and shallow. I played it twice just to see if I missed something. If it was free I still wouldn’t recommend it. Amirali must be hurting for money to charge people for this. If you’re thinking of buying this you’re better off donating to a charity for indie developers, you’ll at least save on time and disappointment.

Strange
I played both ADR and Ensign and I loved both of them. You wanted to tell this story of yours in this game, right? Well, to be honest, I played the game for 6 minutes and already got bored from gameplay. I don’t want to be honest, but this is what a review is. Please, convey your story in a better way, a more intriguing way. I love your story-telling, but this gameplay was just not clicking to me, and I’m sorry for not liking this 8-bit take.
