Revel is just a horrible POS
It’s a horrible POS with horrible support. Just left them. They are completely unethical with their contracts and still billed me after cancellations had been done. I’m so glad I’m done with them.
Slow and unoptimized app
First of all, when u pay for the service, essential tool like this should be free of charge as it provides same info as in the web app. Second, for a company like revel, such slow app that provides only numbers data is a big shame. It seems Revel is not listening to their customers
Worst app ever!
This is the most horrible app for a business I have ever used. No real time without having to wait FOREVER to refresh unless it crashes and you have to start all over again. No way to check your online orders coming in. Every screen that I go to has a different amount for my daily total. 🤦♀️ Just plain awful.

This is supposed to be free access since we already paying for the system it self. It’s unnecessary charges on the owners
Pay to see your own data
It’s absolutely disgusting that Revel ask you to pay to see your own data.
We use revel for our cafe and while it works reasonably well their implementation for management to see key data on phones is poor. We use Vend for our Shop and as of right now I have a Widget that I can use to display any information I want. Crucial data on my Home Screen. And of course, it is free as part of their subscription.
Sort yourselves our Revel, you are now years behind competition. We have been thinking of leaving the system recently and the short term money-grabbing bs like this is nudging us over the edge.

Not Real Time
Horrible app and not “real time” as stated. The website is real time but with the app you will not receive real time sales or labor....and now it won’t even let me log in! My license key which did work before doesn’t now. I tried calling but was on hold for 10 minutes, sorry just use the website on your phone

what has been going on with this app for the last two days ? it kept showing me yesterday’s reports under TODAY’S Date , i can not get it to sync the right report no matter what i do . It’s happening to all of my coworkers as well.

The Revel app is very good. But that is what I would expect from Revel. They know what is important to a business and work on the details to make it easy and very helpful. I have been a customer for five years and can say Revel has helped increased our business by 20 per cent each year with great tech solutions,,

Pay more what!?
We already pay hundreds each month and now you want more for something I can just do without. I can just see this same information through the dashboard. This should be a value added service at no cost.
Yes, it's bad
We pay a pretty penny to use the Revel iPad system and I was told the reporting available at my fingertips was unparalleled....what wasn't mentioned was that all that reporting came at a steep price. Charging for an app when we already pay the monthly subscription??! That's so 2010 Revel!!! Get with it!!!! #disgusted

Another revel ripoff
After paying huge licensing fees, and monthly fees, they just raised our monthly rate, and now they want to charge us for this stupid app. Everything has an app these days. No one charges extra to use their app except revel. It's really rediculous.
Doesn't do anything
This app seems like it could be useful for those using Revel Pos. However, after downloading it does absolutely nothing. We pay a lot of money each month for Revel. Now more fees for reporting??

Rip off they charge over 1500 in fees for returning the hardware unused!!!! Horrible customer service!!!!! Customers be aware!!!!!!

Was a free app until update and now costs a fee monthly!?!? Zero stars if I could.
Bad business
Already one of the most expensive POS systems and now you start charging to use the mobile app after an update? Revel's glitches over the last few months have cost our business money and now you want to start nickel and diming your customers to use an app you sold us on as being free? Can't wait to get out of this contract and on to a competitor.
