Promised Functionality Not Delivered After Purchase

I subscribed for $5 / month so that I could add more custom images.

After subscribing and paying, I still cannot add more than 12 custom images.

I tried waiting a bit and also tapping "restore subscription" to see if this would unlock the paid features, but the logo just spins indefinitely.

**Edit** - I discovered the bug and a workaround. The "add" button will disappear when you fill up the custom images section. You must delete an image, then the button will reappear and you can add more (beyond the previous limit). This continues to happen regularly even after paying.

Love this app

If you’re looking for something to help you change the way you think, or focus on more positive thoughts it’s absolutely perfect!

Love it

An easy way to remember to do my affirmations, along with special sounds, imagery etc. I would recommend the app and paying for the upgraded version.

Love it!

This app is very helpful!

Awesome brain training exercise

Been doing this for a few months doing my own rewyres and thy are so helpful and make me feel better in regards to stress and the challenges life throws at me

Applied Neuroplasticity at a good price

I think it’s great. I see they added more triggers. A reminder alarm or notification alert would help. This is a discipline and needs to be done frequently for success. Please add notifications!

Simple yet profound

Simply the best app I have found that works. Like all things, you need to put in the time but once you commit to it, you will get rewards. I use mine for chronic pain. It gives you the opportunity to create your own visual display (photo) and write your own affirmation and backing beat. It explains the science behind this form of healing which is basically teaching your brain new neural pathways (neuroplasticity). It will take time but it’s worth the effort. Cheap for the value received. Well done indeed.

Response from developer

Hi It’s so humbling to receive feedback like this. We’re really glad you’re finding Rewyre useful and we look forward to your thoughts on the features to come! Best wishes The Rewyre Team

Not very well designed

I love the concept, however you only get to choose from a very small amount of situations, and also have to give your email which I don’t like, then you can’t write long thoughts it has to only be 4 words, wish this app was thought out better, keeping in mind this would be a great app to write down feelings as some people don’t have anyone to open up to and the concept of this app is really great, just not thought out well enough, only a 1 star because I wouldn’t recommend

Great Idea But...

I have tried to connect and it will not let me. I have tried email and Facebook. Maybe add a phone number option?

This app is UNDERRATED

sure, you could be thinking, what is this snake oil of an app, how are these blinking sounds and colors going to do for me?? Well, this method has been tried and true that humans have been using for centuries using a specific process that you might be accustomed to; called learning. Once the brain has associated a certain task with these blinking lights and uplifting message, for example weightlifting, you’ll be able to notice that you will recall this ‘uplifting message’ as your workout proceeds to get difficult. This can be associated with any process, not specifically working out, but the evidence is present. Also the app subscription is only $6, that’s nothing compared to the prices of fishy motivational apps. I think you should at least give this app a shot, of course it will only work as much as you do. Keep that in mind as we improve ourselves together on this journey, you’ll need some due diligence and the impression that again, the app only works as hard as you do. Happy learning :)

Cool idea but seems kinda fishy

You barely get to try the app before they want you to pay 6$ a month to use it. It’s just some beeping sounds and it doesn’t seem worth paying for.

Great Potential....

I was excited to try out this app, but found that it was just not applicable to me at all with the list of triggers it provides. I think that a MUCH better option would be to allow anyone to submit custom triggers, and to categorize positive thoughts/affirmations based on different categories, allowing the user to choose their own. For example, there could be positive affirmations for depression/anxiety that the user could choose from, rather than having to choose a hyperspecific trigger of “anxiety about x,y,z” before having access to them. just some food for thought!

Great!

Absolutely fantastic concept, with nothing similar available elsewhere as far as I’m aware!

App is well designed and functions faultlessly, only drawback is that the Rewyres are quite limited in how many situations exist in the app, although I can only imagine these will widen as time goes on.

Perhaps a good idea would be to create your own custom Rewyre? Where the user could video their own 3 second clip for their own individual situation, and then choose the words that they want to run between this repeated clip? I think this would be an incredible addition!

Is there evidence?

Nice app, although I’d like to see the psychological research presenting that changes in the brain through neuroplasticity is possible through Rewyre?

Other than that, the app works well :)

amazing

I’ve been using this app recently and think it’s really helping, its a shame there is a subscription though
