Your original file is never touched. • IT FINDS THE SAMPLES BY ITSELF EXS24 instruments reference external audio that drifts around over the years. REXS searches the instrument's folder, its neighbors and the whole tree — and if something is still missing, it asks you to point at the folder and resolves the rest. SoundFont 2 (.sf2) is an open standard from 1995, alive in hardware samplers, plug-ins and mobile apps. REXS reads the former and writes the latter respecting 100% of the spec.
