What's New in Tonic Synth
1.3.0
July 13, 2026
What's new in 1.3: - FIXED: the plug-ins can now set their own SF2/Sysex library folder — open the SF2 (or Sysex) picker and use "Set library folder…". The old message pointed to a Settings gear that doesn't exist inside a plug-in. (Thanks for the report!) - NEW: Vector synthesis — the VECTOR chip on the Oscillators panel opens an XY pad that morphs between the 3 oscillators (each corner = one OSC). Modes: XY · Env · LFO · Path — draw your own motion path on the pad and it's saved with the preset. X/Y are MIDI-learnable. - The guided tour now follows the system language (Portuguese included), with technical terms kept in English. - MIDI Learn: one hardware knob can now drive up to 4 controls at once (learn on another control ADDS a mapping). - Preset browser: tidier bank names (User Patches); the Init bank is gone from the lists — the app still opens on the Default patch. - Fixes: MIDI-learned knobs follow the controller again; scenes A–F in both plug-ins; audio-triggered filter AND amp envelopes in the effect plug-in; many small UI polish items.
