Better before
The app used to be great to use but the new version is terrible. It’s not user friendly and all the features I liked about the old one were eliminated.
Order ahead is gone
They got rid of the only reason I even used this app went. They decided to stop the function that allows you to order ahead before you get to the store to save your time. It was the only reason I even went to Rhodes since we have other gas stations that are a little cheaper.

Terrible
The app used to work fine for me. Now, I always get errors when trying to use it for fueling, the location never works and it will tell me I’m at a different store than the one I’ll actually be sitting at, also, the new version of sending out promos via text stinks. It used to send out a link to a barcode. Now, it sends out a link but the link takes me to the Rhodes app in a browser page instead of the actual app on my phone and I have to authorize my phone every single time. I used to use those promo codes but not anymore. Forcing people to jump through hoops and requiring them to buy online instead of in store is ridiculous.

Doesn’t work
I went through the identification process and when time to login it takes me back to the activation screen and when I enter number it doesn’t send a code and there’s no way to get to the login screen.
Frequently crashes
I like the receipts going to the app. Helps on a busy day but, app fails to open often and crashes.
Trash! I don’t recommend!
The most recent update is straight trash! Every time I try to open the app I have to enter my phone number and validate the app… highly inconvenient!! And to top it off, you enter your phone number and a valid email address, but I still never get a text or email!!! When I have to wait a week or more to get into your app, I don’t care how much money I’ll save using it, I’ll spend my money at your competitor. You’ve lost a frequent and valuable customer.

Fix the app
It used to be a great app, but for the last 2 months I’ve only been able to log on once. When I tap on the app it looks like it going to load, and than it goes back to my Home Screen. I really liked using the app up until it stopped loading.

Great app to use! Although, it started crashing about a week ago when I open it. I haven’t been able to access it at all to see my accumulated points.

What a shame. The concept of the app seems awesome, but the execution of an app that works as intended just isn’t there. Fire whoever designed this monstrosity. Maybe one day I’ll change my rating, but I’m owed for my time wasted on trying to make this app work. $21+ gone. Bank account falls off every time after completing the authentication process. This app is loaded with issues. Try, try again. F- 0 ZERO STARS.

Good idea. Terrible Execution
Pros: Direct payments with Plaid pays back as a discount on gas. Cons: Every time I connect my bank and go to another screen, bank info is cleared. Whenever I try to launch a pump usage in the app I get an error. Screen resolution not optimized for iPhones without home button. Letterboxing on top and bottom like app from 2017. Lots of room for improvement. Will be looking forward to using the new app once functional. Please test before releasing.

I see a bunch of unflinching praise and then there is a clear line and all the negative reviews come in. My assumption (speculation) is that a significant amount of perfect reviews came from employees.

Unimpressed customer
If there was a rating lower than 1, I’d give it. In order to utilize this app to it’s potential you must include your credit card information. You cannot use your accumulated points to pay for fuel without putting in a credit card number of some type. Why ? If I have $30.00 in accumulated points, I should be able to use those points to pay for my fuel without having a credit card number on file. Also you get zero points for alcohol and tobacco purchases. Why ? It also takes 22 tea purchases now to get enough points to get a free tea when it used to take only 6 tea purchases to get a free tea with the old Rhodes tag that went on your key ring. This app is terrible. Go back to the old way. It was much better

Very helpful and Convenient
I went to the Rhodes by I-55 this morning and was very happy to use the Rhodes App to save money on gas. I want to give a special thank you and shout out to Brent. He is always helpful and recommended the Rhodes App to help myself and others save on gas prices.

Solidly functional app, but missing a key hit of functionality for the QR card.

Absolutely love the app! It’s so easy to use and who doesn’t love getting points for purchases?! Only downside is adding a bank account. My bank doesn’t work with Plaid, so I cannot take part in additional fuel discounts.
Easy to Use
Very impressed with this app! The fueling is quick and easy, and I can get my soda brought out to the pump! The app works great, and they are giving out amazing bonus points!
