Used to love, doesn’t work anymore
I have emailed the developer twice and messaged on Facebook and haven’t heard anything. I’m hoping to get a response!
I recently switched from an iPad mini to an iPad Pro 11inch M5, and when my Rhythm Cat App transferred over, it stopped working correctly. There is a delay from when you push the button and when it registers that you push the button. The music is not lined up with the count-in, either.
I’m using iPadOS 26.5.2. I did reset the app as well as delete and reinstall it.
I’m a piano teacher who used to love using this with my students. I’d really like to get it fixed.

A Truly Fantastic Rhythm Trainer!!
I purchased and have been using James’ suite of apps for music theory training for a few months now. I teach piano to people under 15 years old mostly, and everyone has been responding extremely well to Rhythm Cat. It is now a reward for good work that I’m able to use in class, in addition to being a powerful teaching tool for training young people on how to ready written rhythms. James, thank you so much for these awesome apps!!!

bug: it can get out of sync
if you are making multiple attempts at a level and press restart repeatedly the ui and beat get out of sync and makes it impossible and frustrating to use. loading in these situations needs to be timed properly
Abigail rate 10/10
This game is so fun to play but not just for fun and it helps you to learn more about piano
Excellent for training
I use this with my piano students. It’s challenging for them. It’s more precise than most students can handle, so it challenges them to be deliberately precise in their tapping.
