Improved Purchase Experience

User reviews

Helpful for teaching intervals

I’ve had Interval Jump since the first version, and I love the new update. It’s easier to use, fun to play, and my students enjoy practicing with it. Excited to see what comes next!

So much better!

This upgrade was much needed! My beginner students can easily press the buttons now instead of struggling with turning the wheel. The graphics look much better, and I love the interactive learn page for showing the relationship between all the intervals, and lines and spaces on the staff. Well worth the money.

Response from developer

Thank you so much! I'm so glad to hear you've been enjoying Interval Jump with your students. It was designed to make learning intervals feel more like a game than flash cards, so it's wonderful to hear that's been your experience. Thanks again for the kind words and for sharing it with your students!

Cute game for beginners

Great for music students starting out!

Amazing resource for lessons!

I just found this app and already am obsessed with it!! What a fun and easy way for students of all ages to practice interval recognition. I love the options for ordinal/numbers (2nd 3rd etc) as well as words (repeat, step, skip, leap). This is going to become a staple in my studio, I’m sure of it!

It needs an update!

So much potential but it is too difficult for little hands to select the correct number on the moving wheel. The timer gives some motivation but a destination to arrive at because you didn’t make many mistakes etc… would make it outstanding. Please, please, please update the dial to a better touch option! Something stationary? Like a column of little box options to select from unison and up to P8 for top half of column and a unison down to P8 for bottom half of column.

Response from developer

Thanks so much for the thoughtful feedback! I completely agree the wheel could be tricky, especially for younger players. In the latest update, I added a stationary button layout as an option alongside the original wheel, and it's made interval selection much easier. I also love your idea of adding a destination or goal to work toward, and that's something I'll be exploring in a future update. If you get a chance to try the new version, I'd love to hear what you think. Thanks again for helping make Interval Jump better!
