Bonus chapter can’t be completed
Like other reviews, I cannot complete the bonus chapter of this game - and many of the reviews were from many years ago.

Game was good but you have to tap the screen several times before any response ,then got to bonus game and like a few other people the gate would not open, so pretty annoying as I’ve paid £6.99
Bonus game still impossible to finish 3 years later..
As described by many other reviewers, the jigsaw gate puzzle is still a game ender. You can’t place the last piece, and you can’t skip the minigame to avoid this glitch. That means you can’t finish the bonus, you don’t get access to the secret room, etc.
Big Fish should be ashamed for failing to fix this for more than 3 years, but then they’ve demonstrated that their iPad users are the red headed stepchildren of their fan base. Their poor treatment of us has assured that I will never turn to their PC games as a substitute.
My rating absent this glitch would have been a 3, due primarily to the short length of the main game, the lack of novelty in the puzzles, and the blurry graphics. I won’t play this again.

Beautiful artwork but...
I found it incredibly frustrating to find my way around the game.
I found the map confusing and not always responsive to touch; I often had to tap several times. As usual with Elephant games the graphics were gorgeous but the game wasn’t that captivating as I found it confusing.

Found this game very frustrating. Instructions for some mini games were not indicative of what was required, pick ups were clunky mostly and in the secret room I could not pick up the dagger/umbrella despite trying for ages and a restart meaning I cannot finish the game. No really good enough. Pleased I bought it on special and didn’t pay full price I would have been really peeved.

Missed this one!
Found this looking for another game to play and am very happy I did. This is my favorite kind of game. Different variations on the HOS and several puzzles mixed in. Even though it is not brand new...it holds up! Would have given 5 stars except for the fact that the dreaded DARK scenes are sooo prevalent.

Not that unique or engaging but a nice diversion for a rainy day. I am only 1/3 of the way through but not bad. Can use a few more puzzles....
Loved it until...
In the bonus game, where there is a man with an injured leg in the Main Street, there is an issue where you cannot open the gate after completing the jigsaw. All that happens is a cycle of using your power-jigsaw-a click on gate and you're back to the blue symbol again. Tried reloading and replay, and skip, the lot but to no avail. I've read other reviews that say the same. Please fix! I will change my rating once it's done.

Not up to Par
Glitchy, the story line was rushed. The quality of puzzles, game and story fell short of past good quality. Very Disappointed.
