Frustration
I bought this game years ago and have just downloaded it again to play. It won’t let me restore my purchase and nor will it let me buy the game again. Frustrating! The trial part has been so good but I can’t continue with the game

This is my third time playing this game, had no technical difficulties as others have stated. Loved the graphics, (especially the "Death" character). The Four Horseman storyline got me hooked soooo, I didn't relegated it to the "Cloud" and it's a good thing I did because I too have been having problems with Games that one is supposed to "own for life" once the game is purchased but, a text comes back stating, "no purchase has been found",......

Glitches Galore
I was enjoying the game but had a hard time picking up the wooden wedge but eventually was able to get it but I cannot get the piano pedal from the armor. 🙁

Congratulations Big Fish, at last an excellent game for iPad gaming, this game reminds me of when I first joined the Big Fish club twelve years ago. I played so many of this type of game on desktop and laptop I had almost given up on ever playing such a well executed, interesting and engrossing storyline on iPad. Graphics are of the same quality of a console game, it’s not the usual run of the mill HOG (save the castle/town/family from evil and find the artefact). So having paid £6.99 I feel that price is justified, but I have to say that some of the previous games I’ve bought for that price haven’t all been worth that amount, it’s a shame that games aren’t priced like console games, depending on the length, quality, and storyline. Well done though, more like this one please.

Fantastic game
Such long gameplay and great bonus as well. Puzzles were challenging. Only gripe is sometimes it was hard to pick things up.

Lots of glitches. On first screen impossible to remove wedge from bridge mechanism

Frustrating and annoying
Game is glitchy. You have to try over and over and over again to pick things up. Not intuitive at all had to refer to the strategy guide to confirm what I was doing was correct and I still had to keep trying to pick things up before it would eventually let me.
Got to the point now that I Can’t proceed because the game refuses to allow me to hang up the potion recipe even though I’ve tried over and over and over again :/. I’ve collected all the ingredients and gone as far as I can but I can’t proceed further.
UPDATE: thought I’d give it one last try and it finally allowed me to hang up the recipe and complete the potion but I shouldn’t have to tap over and over and over again to get something to work.
The game could be really great but it’s very frustrating and disappointing - if only they’d made sure it wasn’t buggy :(

can’t pick up stuff
game is stuck because i can’t pick up necessary items to proceed. frustrating and self-defeating.
Terrible game!
I had to practically beat my iPad to select objects. I tried other hidden object games to make sure it wasn't my iPad, it wasn't.
LOVED the storyline 😍
One of the best storyline's in a long time, kept my interest right to the end (which doesn't happen often!). It's a long game with gorgeous graphics, a great atmosphere and appropriate music. Nice variety of puzzles of varying difficulty and not too many HOS.
Knocked off one star as, although you can fast travel via the map it doesn't show where you need to be so had to use hint button a lot. Also screen wasn't very responsive sometimes.
Apart from the aforementioned a brilliant game and bonus chapter even better. 👏🌞

WAS a good game, but ....
The first time I tried this game, I liked it very much. This time, not. I had to tap on the wooden wedge over a dozen times before I could get it. I even used the hint to see if I was doing something wrong.
I hate playing games with glitches. It's off my "to buy" list until it's fixed.

So far this game has had no issues for me..But the game is spectacular, beautiful, and went way beyond what I had expectations. The scenes are wonderfully done, exceptional detail and graphics, considering I have played hundreds of BigFish games on PC and iPad, this one is in the top ten for iPad games for me👍👍❤️❤️ but I have to add the after getting halfway through the bonus game I got totally reset on the whole game. Very disappointing so I think I am going to start buying the games on cd and get away from online games..sad but beneficial to me😀

Well, the forever is just until you try to replay it again.
I have so far lost three "forever" games from Big Fish. I agree that this is intolerable and needs to be fixed, or else the statement about owning the games "forever" changed. I like to replay games and am highly disappointed when something I paid for just disappears.

Still has problems.
Fixed the lost progress, but now I cannot get one of the signs from the gnome next to the crossbow. That, and I have had to beat my iPad Air 2 half to death to get a lot of the HO items. There have been too many glitches in all of these games, by all developers lately. I will not buy any more.
