To clarify, our company focuses on vehicle occupancy verification and have done so for several years now. We are unsure why the university has communicated to students that this is a carpool app, but we will be in contact with them immediately to address this miscommunication. I should also note that our services to FIU were free of charge, which means that no student money was put towards our app or services. Our goal was to offer preferred parking spaces to students who carpooled to campus and verified their occupancy with our technology.
